It comes with a great deal of soul searching that I have to put this beautiful car up for sale. It has been an absolute dream to own, and, during this time has not wanted for anything whatsoever . This can be borne out by the size of the folder that accompanies it , 4" thick full of receipts and servicing bills to the tune of £17k , of which has been carried out by well respected companies Austec/AFR Tuning , Rocketdog Racing etc. During my ownership I have had all the oil levels changed ( Auto Trans , LSD , Brake ,and engine + filter ) all these being replaced in the last 12 mths, with the engine oil being changed every 6 mths or 3k miles . The crank case seal was renewed at the same time I replaced the original case for a polished one . The engine bay has had so much money spent since my ownership that I don't want to count how much I,ve done . At this point I can say that all the parts that have been replaced by polished, and chrome , have been kept and will come with the sale . All the parts will go with the sale in order to restore it to the original condition if that's what the next owner wants , I,ve even kept the original fan,turbo hard pipes , etc etc. The interior is in full silver and black leather , which includes the dash ,glove box , and door cards . This interior was completed by the very well respected finishers Gibson & Boyne , at a cost of over £2500 . The bodywork is in exceptional condition and has always had a wash ,wax , every weekend ( weather permitting ) and had a good clay barring last August . I have only ever used the best cleaning products and members that know me and my car will testify to its condition . The chassis is completely rust free , ( the petrol tank protector has some rust but I bought a good replacement off another member on here that comes with the sale ) The wheels have been completely refurbished by myself and the lips come up to a fantastic sheen ( that they are often mistaken for chrome ) , with Eagle F1s , rear 5m and front 5m The odometer reads in kilometres and therefore has not been tampered with or reset , the speedometer electronically converted to read in MPH. The money, time, and effort ,that has been spent on this beauty just cannot be estimated , and as members that know me and the car will witness, I would not drive my car knowing that it might require a part or a service , or for that matter I would not even drive my car if it were dirty and I could have cleaned it before setting off on a trip. All cars have them. There are 3 stone chips ,two on the bonnet, and one on the off - side bumper, with a minor scratch on the rear spoiler , no of which are noticeable unless really looking for them , but thought it worth a mention £13k or near offer. If its not at CC next year its a no go for me. Castle Combe has always been an excellent venue for JF and if it changes to Silverstone imo that it will lose its atmosphere and appeal.

Yet another NEWBY key board warrior that comes onto a thread , gives an opinion that he knows nothing about , and knows nothing of the member he makes his snipe at , then thinks hes making a valid contribution. Hey Herbie , I have been reading your thread with great interest and awe at some of the comments. As you know most of the points that have been made are done in the true club spirit , but it does seem to me that one or two of the comments have tried to hijack your thread in order to have a cheap snipe at another member . This is how it seems some of the comments come across imo .

Thanks for the nice comments guys . I would give serious consideration to starting a detailing business, but for the lack of custom here in South Wales . Having said that I think I have already got most of the quality polishes , waxes , shampoos, hell I even have a brand new electric mains buffer with all the different grade buff pads that I have never had the need to use lol.

First of all let me put you straight on a point you made . I am good a mate of a Somali guy that came here 6 years ago in a lorry . He bought all the documents needed to be here along with his NI card , from a scam artist in London . He now works here and pays his tax and is now married with 2 kids and a council flat . But of course you know me so well you make sweeping statements like " unfounded generalisations " about my point, that I think is by no means unfounded , or a generalisation . Secondly , at what point are we the British nation partly responsible for these illegals breaking into a lorry , smashing lorry windows when the driver refuses to stop , as I have witnessed, a driver being fined £2000 for these people hiding on his lorry without his knowledge . And as far as I,m concerned we make laws in Britain for all who live here to abide to , I think you will find these illegals DONT live here and if our country looks attractive to those on the outside then that's our fault also . The points you have tried to make just don't stand up . To quote yourself " get your facts right " before assuming anything .

Tell you what I,m talking about . They come here illegally , in a lot of cases already have friends or family here , then they just get their benefits papers from any of the many side street immigration centres sited around all major uk cities. Now before you get on your soap box , you can get counterfit docs from lots and lots of places it just remains how much you pay for said docs . Normally the higher the price the better the quality . Present those docs to the relevant benefits agency and etc etc . Hope this clarifies my point , or do think there no such thing , theres nothing such as counterfit scams, and all illegals get a legal full time job and pay into the British tax system on their arrival in the UK . I use British ports 3 - 6 times a year , last time through Dunkirque 9 days ago( returning from Le man 24) . I am an HGV and have driven all over Europe with my work over the last 30 years , having shipped out of every port in Brittain to the Euro mainland at various times . This is a political problem that should have been addressed 15 years ago when these immigrants first started coming ashore at Lampadusa. So unless these immigrants are stopped and returned to where they originally sailed from this problem for Italy , Greece , France , Germany , and ourselves will only continue except at a more rapid rate , to which we will have no control whatsoever . Make no mistake if our benefits system is allowed to be given to all and sundry that show up at a point of entry , we will be reeling financially now, for many years to come . Last thing to need to get off my chest is , you MUST admire FRANCE . Their outlook towards these immigrants are -----if you want to come to France , welcome.But you will not receive any benefits . You will not get any form of accommodation from the French government . You will not be given a job .So unless you are prepared to work legally and pay taxes etc, etc. We do not owe a life style or living to anyone that is not going to work for it and pay their way in life , and even then THIS IS AN ISLAND how many more can we cram on this piece of land that we call Great Brittain ?
