  1. When was the last time you changed the gearbox fluid? could be as simple as it needs a flush? Also are the fluid levels where they should be?

PM Keron on this site, he'll probably have one he could sell you
  3. Correct We only use dormer drill bits in our workshop, we've trialled all sorts of different brands that claim to be the best, nothing has compared to dormer to be honest. Elmo, the stainless will have got hot from high speed drilling and hardened, it'll be a right b*stard to do now, slowly does it and for gods sake keep off the hammer setting
  4. Thats a lovely supra you've bought, congratulations mate
  5. I like both, in my opinion the supra is a better looking car but the gtr's look like a monster and I like that too
  6. Nice one, glad it all worked out
  7. Photo's here, good luck. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35926-The-sequential-system
  8. Its at the bottom of the page on this link http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/supra/turbo.htm
  9. Welcome to the forum, looks like a tidy mkiii you have there
  10. Try cleaning the 02 sensor, check vsv's, coilpack clips, fcd maybe?
  11. Great news, it'll be nice if you catch them and whoever is responsible is charged by the police or at least made to pay for the repairs.
  12. Thats crap, hope you get a result with the cctv

    Welcome Steve
  14. Just watch you don't catch your fingers too, they come out pretty fast
  15. Depends, is there is any corrosion on the pistons (other than the top)? if not you should be able to get away with re-using them with a bit of a clean up with wet and dry sandpaper. Seals are easy to change, just make sure you use plenty of lubrication when re-inserting the pistons, there is a grease you can buy for this or if not use plenty of brake fluid. The dust seals were a bigger PITA in my opinion.
  16. Chris Wilson will also sell you the bits you need to fit them yourself
  17. Cheers Mark, sorted now, my car uses the VVTi ABS ecu even though it's not a VVTi, got a bit more fiddling to do including getting the laptop to connect to the unit but the wiring was a success
  18. Thread revival, I've had a go at installing my rltc unit today but its only picking up one of the wheel sensors, this is just to remind myself that this thread is the pinouts to use for the ABS sensors on RLTC install on a facelift non vvti (thanks ttsupra97) , I was using the pinouts for the pre facelift j-spec Hopefully this will be sorted by tomorrow, I love this forum
  19. Interesting thread, subscribed to see Paul's before and after results
  20. Loving your work Mark, good thread
  21. Try emailing Chris Wilson, he's a man in the know for this sort of thing, if you can remove the offending seal and send it to him he might be able to match it up with something to replace it.
