  1. okay thanks guys I'm off to order a restrictor! lol
  2. Bl**dy hell that was quick cheers Rob
  3. I have been reading up on boost limits and it seems the maximum level is 1.2 bar. You have to excuse my ignorance as I am new to supra's and turbos. My car is supposed to have the boost turned up to 1.2 bar but I have noticed it is over-boosting at 1.4 on the gauge when the second turbo cuts in. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is due to the weather because of the dense cold air it performs better. I was told when I bought the car that I should probably fit a restrictor ring (what is that?) on to make sure that it doesn't over boost. Can anyone explain where to get one from (1.2bar) and how to fit them? My car is a 96 twin turbo auto if it helps! thanks guys

  13. Hi Can anyone help me? I have been wanting to fit glass headlights to my p reg facelift supra j-spec tt which currently has Phillips HID plastic lights installed. I want to keep the light units and change the lense because I don't like the grey plastic look. I have been told that you can only fit 9006 units to the uk glass lights, my HID's are 9005 fitment. Below is a copy of the email I got from envy performance when I questioned them about it: Hi Tom, 9005 and 9006 are nearly identical, it's the lugs on lights which are in a different orientation, it can be modified easily to fit though Best Regards, Gareth Walker Director http://www.envyperformance.com - Performance Parts Distributors Tel: 01670 823333 | Mobile: 07960 033 044 _______________________________________________________ Anyway! what I need to know is if anyone has modified the 9005 fittings to fit into 9006 uk spec lights and could they send me some instructions on how to do it? thanks guys Tom
  14. Okay so I finally got a chance to check my HID headlight fittings, they have a sticker on the wiring saying 9005, does this mean I am buggered or can I get adaptors of some sort?

  19. Hi all Wondering if anyone knows if you can fit HID light units straight into UK spec glass headlight clusters? I've seen some on ebay (uk glass clusters), it says they are just the shell but I don't want to buy new or change the bulbs or holders, I think my existing lights are philips HID but I have only just bought the car so I'm not 100% sure. cheers
