  1. thanks, It's not the battery, I have tried another one and its turning over as fast as it usually does. Plugs are very sooty, but haven't checked for a spark yet, ran out of daylight tonight. I can't hear the fuel pump prime when I turn the ignition on but there is a buzz that continues for about a second after I stop turning the ignition key is that the pump? oh, and the exhaust smells strongly of fuel. Hopefully it's just flooded, I've took out the plugs and cleaned them up, I will put them back in tomorrow and try again. My brother is a mechanic and is coming down on saturday to have a look, I have a feeling it may have spiked the immobiliser because I don't understand how the car can be running absolutley fine one evening and then nothing the next morning. Could the turbo timer be a possibility? Igniter pack? Anyone know of a good auto electrician in Cumbria (longshot, I know!)?
  2. Welcome mate. I'm in Seascale and my supra is buggered at present
  3. Can anyone offer me some ideas? I drove back from work as normal yesterday, parked up on my drive and so on. When I jumped in the car the next morning and turned the key the dash lights went out and there was nothing. I checked under the bonnet and found the battery terminal was loose so tightened up and then it would turn over but wouldn't fire up. It does splutter very slightly every 10 secs or so when turning over but won't get going. There are no stored fault codes. I tried resetting the ECU and all fuses are intact. The clifford 650 alarm seems to be working as usual, no odd behaviour. The car has never done anything like this before and always starts up as soon as the key is turned and drives perfectly. If anyone has any ideas please help. Cheers

    Nutter policeman

No need for the punches IMO, a soundless video clip doesn't tell the full story but it's seems a bit harsh on a 15 year old kid.
  6. ha ha yeah, that game was the best
  7. Thanks for the thread, just ordered some. Bargain
  8. brilliant cars, I once had one. My mate sold his limited edition one on ebay for £1100 last year but it wasn't in good condition to be honest so you should get a bit for it, people want to buy them to take them back to their youth, I bought an xr3i in November.
  9. yes you can just unplug it. I don't think it's essential anyway
  10. Back to the future was on sky1 or 2 the other night, me and the missus watched it and I said to her, it would be smart to own a delorean wouldn't it, she said no, thinking about it shes right too. How much does the delorean weigh by the way anyone, peformance figures must be awful, aren't they a stainless body?
  11. I loved red dwarf when I was younger but agree it went downhill towards the last couple of series. I'll definately watch this though, should be good.
  12. Sorry mate, glad your okay

    Mattress

I have a memory foam matress and highly recommend it, cost £400 but well worth it, it's really helped my back problems, buying a matress is like buying cheap bread... just not worth it, spend a bit bit more, you really won't regret it.

    Company car?

The fiesta has had good reviews.
  15. He'll never sign for City, unless they get in the Champions League, which seems highly unlikely at this point.
