  1. I would say silver too, having owned many different coloured cars over the years.
  2. Nice car, should sell easily, good luck
  3. Speaking of missing old cars, I miss my little celica st202, I wish i'd kept it now as a daily runaround but sold it and kept my 306 deisel turbo, I soon got bored of that and bought a mkiv XR3i to drive run around in but it's not as great as I remembered it when I last had one when I was 19, I do like it and they handle brilliantly but the fuel economy is rubbish in ratio to it's bhp/performance (or lack of) and the insurance premium is ridiculous for a 8v 1.6, (had it insured with SKY until they quoted me about £1360 for my renewal), I ended up paying about £350 through admiral which is still very high in my opinion. I think the celica was actually better on fuel and that was quite a quick little car for a n/a 2 litre.
  4. thats brilliant, I love deloreans. The only one I have ever seen in the flesh in the UK is at cars of the stars in Keswick, it was apparantly one of the models used in back to the future, I don't know how true that is but it was a very good copy if not. Just had a look at your thread. Brilliant mate, good luck with it all
  5. Hi and welcome, i've no idea about your questions but someone will

    why a supra

I'm ashamed to say I'm one of the fast and the furious generation, ever since then I always wanted one but I am a fan of the stock look, loved the acceleration on my test drive and was hooked from then in.
  7. I am finally getting around to fitting my ebc over the next few days. I know where the main hoses for the new solenoid are to go and where to cap off but my question is this: Seeing as the wastegate VSV is disconnected and no longer functional can it be removed from the engine bay or does it need to stay there with caps on where the two pipes used to connect to it, if so why? (obviously the bottom of the actuator and the steel pipe near the spark plug cover will be capped). One other thing, can I tap into the line already used for the boost gauge behind the dash for the 4mm hose to the main unit as a true pressure source? I know you can do that with the blitz ebc but will it be the same for the greddy ebc? Sorry for my ignorance but I have not found a definate answer with my searches. Cheers

    Hi

    Welcome mate
  10. Try disconnecting the battery for 10 mins, also could be the clifford backup battery is getting low?
  11. Very true mate, I didn't notice you were even further up in Scotland
  12. Me either looks great though doesn't it, it's a bit of a drive for me to go to London from up in Cumbria but I chose to follow Arsenal as a kid because my family comes from the Highbury area originally. I'm Strictly an armchair supporter I'm afraid.
  13. A good effort, pleased with that, except for the whole utd winning the title thing. It's a bit of a mickey mouse tournament really though. Everyone knows the Emirates Cup is the one to win wouldn't you say Ian
  14. Good luck Arsenal, this time we will win maybe!!! I really hope we can delay the inevitable today if nothing else just to save face at work with the manc fans. Next season is the one. Sell Adebayor and by a decent defender and a goalkeeper would be good too. Give Eduardo a go next season. I don't think we need another striker Could do with selling Rosicky if he gets injured again, good player but a waste of wages.
  15. As Ian said it's too expensive for an N/A IMO
  16. What size are the multispoke wheels, would they clear uk brakes?

    Hi :)

    Welcome Josh
  18. Alot of the people I work with don't like my supra either, they liked my celica but they think the supra is over the top and they call it the plastic rocket , some people have no idea. I bought the supra because I always wanted one, stuff everyone else
  19. Oil cap arrived today Keron, spot on thanks

So what would the safest top speed you could reach without pushing the engine so hard that it goes bang?
