  1. Glad you've found the problem mate
  2. Isn't there a thread on replacing the internal battery on the alarm on here somewhere?
  3. Hi I need some m12 x 1.5 wheel nuts for aftermarket wheels, so 60 degree fitment. The nuts need to be good condition (not noticeably rusty) and have a fair amount of thread to accommodate my wheel studs (10mm longer than stock) Cheers
  4. Can I offer £120 shipped, if you get no interest?

    Hi

Welcome Alex, I like your car
  6. Can you borrow or buy a second hand ecu to try and see if it still pops fuses when you turn the ignition on?
  7. Thanks for sharing this, really enjoyed it, especially the bit with the broken clip in the spark plug recess because I did exactly the same and spent about 30 mins trying to fish it out with long nosed pliers. Made me laugh, well written.
  8. I'm Interested in seeing the price of these
  9. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the 120a fuse is there to protect other components from power surges often caused by jump starting, if your unlucky it can also fry the igniter and worse still the ecu. I would get a multimeter and make sure your battery is giving you a good reading, around 12-13v. Also make sure the battery terminals are connected nice and tight. Can you rule out your alarm/immobiliser too?
  10. You need heat, as already mentioned.
  11. The one 120amp charge fuse is available from any toyota dealer, it should still start without it providing the battery is okay, It'll just drain the life out of the battery. Has your car been jump started recently by any chance?
  12. Do you know what has been done to this particular ecu, ie, what has been altered compared to the stock ecu?
  13. It'll probably be because the plastic lugs are different, I think there are 9005 and 9006 fittings if I remember rightly, it should be written on the lights what fitment/size bulbs you need for the facelift lights i think it's 9006, if your old lights were pre facelifts they are probably different. Just a guess though, I could be wrong.
