    Hi

    Hi, Welcome back
  5. Looks like a good un', nice car, keep it stock IMO
  6. Great shout on the last two, I loved those gliders
  7. You used to be able to get sp2 for xp sent to you free of charge from microsoft. I did it a few years back, have a look on the microsoft website.
  8. My runabout is a vtr, great on fuel, parts are cheap, bodywork doesn't seem to rust, it'll be a good little car for someone. GLWS I should of read the whole thread before posting
  9. Occasional dry weekend car.
  10. Well done Kev, you've done a good job on the paintwork, it looks much better than I thought it would when I first read your thread last year.
  11. Interested in the cats, will they fit a j-spec facelift (non vvti model)?
  12. Use a bit of heat on the nuts and all should be well, be careful not to burn anything you shouldn't though.
  13. Definitely the cat if it's the second one, my 2nd cat restricts boost by about .2 bar too.
  14. To be honest, I think it depends how strict the MOT testers you use are, but I would keep the stock exhaust (two cats) handy as you may need it to pass the emissions tests. The last 2 MOT's mines had it's passed with just the second cat, which is good because I don't have the first one. If it's got one cat in at least it looks like you've made the effort.
  15. That doesn't work for me, £580 fully comp for me (facelift tt import, modified) but if I add my wife on it goes up to £800+ , she's never had any claims and been driving since 2002. It's been the same for the last 3 years, they say she has had no experience of driving a performance car so is high risk. I think they just make it up as they go along.
