  1. Christian, your work is outstanding, great thread that.
  2. Nice car, but obviously this guys not short of a few quid, look at his house: http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2562878350034058898fQiVnI
  3. Good idea, i'll see if I can borrow one, thanks. I know mate, I bought the bung off Keron, when I got the car it didn't have one, really drains the power but much nicer to drive when going long distances. Why do you need two spanners to take it off?
  4. Any tips for removing the bung Abz? mines an RSR too, but it's stuck solid.
  5. As above, in my opinion this is about £1000 too cheap, however, someone is going to get themselves a real bargain. GLWS
  6. Sorry mate can't find a good photo but it's located here (number 2): http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=13951&d=1112559186 More info on this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35926-The-sequential-system Hope that helps?
  7. Do you have a working EGCV VSV for sale?, I suspect mine has an intermittent fault.
  8. Aaron Henry at Steven Eagell, Milton Keynes Toyota does good prices too (01908 248848), Theres a member on here who works for the same firm I believe (there's a thread promoting cheap parts for owners club members somewhere if you do a search). I've just bought some new OEM UK rear discs and pads from them, delivery was only £16 too.
  9. Thanks, it's the maximum size (pretty much to the mm) that I could fit on my plot (I made sure it was big enough to accommodate the car, thats the whole reason I built it), the sewers restricted the length of it and the width is restricted by mine and the neighbours garden unfortunately. It's 36 square metres, plenty of room for the car and a work bench etc at the back. You are right though, i've really got to keep and eye on how much clutter I collect in there:d. My wife says I need to keep the other side empty for her celica in the frosty weather so i'll have to be careful
  10. Thanks guys, haven't totalled it up but reckon it cost the best part of £10,000. Did alot of the work myself including the floor (6" of hardcore, inch of sand, visquine and 6" of concrete), roof and labouring for my brickie. It's been a real eye opener as to how much work goes into a build, eg, I had no idea i'd have to dig out a 2 foot trench to pour the concrete foundations, when I started I thought I could just lay blocks straight onto my existing concrete yard lol, Mr building regs put me right though.
  11. Well, after over two years of living in our new house we've finally managed to scrimp and save enough money to build a brand spanking double garage to keep the supra in. We live right next to the sea so it's good to finally get it out the salt air. Just put it away for the winter months today, as you can see I still need to install the concrete ramp at the front but it'll do for now. I've been waiting to get it under cover so I can do a major service on it over the winter including cambelt, spark plugs, all fluids and brakes, can't wait.
  12. You need to speak to Ibrar I would imagine
  13. I may be interested, is it a vvti or non vvti please? does it include the two cats? never been entirely sure on what exactly "cat back" means
  14. As Dunk says, the no claims bonus will be valid for 2 years from the date your policy expires.
  15. Impressive, would like to see a video demonstration of it fitted to a supra.
  16. Fair enough, have you tried pistonheads and your local gumtree website? pistonheads costs £10 to advertise now but is well worth it, much better than autotrader in my opinion because you don't get all the spam emailers.
  17. I honestly think you should put it back up to at least £700, it is too cheap at £600, you're right, you'll make prospective buyers think there must be an underlying problem, I can't believe it hasn't sold yet. You'd get £600 all day long on ebay.
  18. Right, i'll start the bidding at £30 delivered for the ariel.
  19. I've had 6 different people sending emails trying to scam me since last week when I put my saxo for sale on auto trader, all of them were very obvious (including the exact same story as the original posters twice). I've had it with auto trader now, it's a waste of time, I would recommend selling through pistonheads though, had a much better response with genuine interest and no dodgy emails, both times i've sold cars through their site have been successful.
  20. I drive mine on Friday's to work (makes it seem like the weekends started) and possibly Saturday's but if it isn't dry I take the runabout, living in Cumbria (the rain capital of the world) that generally means I only manage about 1000 miles a year. I don't abuse the car but I am rarely sat at the back of a queue of traffic for long.
  21. Mayweather to win no problem for me, I can't see Manny Pacquiao beating him either if that ever happens although I'd like to see it.
