Can't argue with that can you? we expected to pay about £2000 for two doors so were chuffed with ours for under a grand.

Jamie, just make sure you tell him whether you want a wireless remote key opening door or a manual key switch. I ended up with the manual one which wasn't what I expected, but to be fair I should of read the quote properly

I bought two electric roller doors roughly 7.5ft x 7 foot from this company:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roller-Garage-Door-Upto-2-6m-8ft-6-x-2-3m-7ft-6-/120755063227?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Doors_LE&hash=item1c1d9009bb Had to fit them myself but they are a doddle, did one side by myself. Can't complain, arrived in under two weeks, made to my exact measurements and fit like a...errr door They are called rollerdor i think, the guys name was Colin. The pair cost me under £900 delivered.

Well, I didn't buy the car , it was just a bit too far gone for me after spending a bit more time inspecting it. The car had also been in a front ender at some point so I wasn't prepared to pay £1000 for a car that may have a twisted chassis. None of the front body panels lined up properly. Seller was very honest but wasn't prepared to let it go for less than £1000 which is fair enough (looks like it's worth that) but I wouldn't have paid more than £600 for it, I offered that and he rejected it. It's going on ebay soon.

Yep, it was a shocking fight, embarrassing for the heavyweight division, went exactly as I thought except the opponent was even more useless than I expected, Fury is nowhere near ready for a title fight yet and I think he knows that (especially after being knocked on his a*se by as man that threw the same shot at him about 50 times before connecting)

I agree, they just have a presence about them, stunning looks and stance, the one i'm going to look at now isn't what i'd call stunning but I'll have a poke around and see if it's got potential (my brother will have a lot more idea than me so he's coming with me). I work as a welder fabricator so that's got to help me get it back on the road.

I think Tyson Fury will improve, his last fight was 10x times better than the one before that, he makes for quite a good fighter to watch because he seems to go through a spell of being on the verge of getting knocked out himself every fight, it's as if he sort of wakes up after getting hit a few times. He'll become a world champion eventually (if nothing else due to the Klitshcko's age) but as already said, the days of Mike Tyson are long gone and probably won't be back due to the UFC taking over as a more glamorous and probably better paid sport for heavyweights to be in.

Going to have a better look at the car tommorrow, taking my brother (ford mechanic) with me so may make an offer if it's not too rotten, also depends on if I can sell my speedboat to fund it needless to say my wife is less than impressed with the idea

Does anyone know how much a c reg series 1 rs turbo is worth as a project car?, it's in average condition (needs welding up underneath, interior abit scruffy but runs okay, some panels need replacing)? I am thinking of buying one local to me for a full restoration and then flogging it but he wants offers around £1000, is that too much? Any ideas on values, how hard parts are to come by etc? The rs turbo is the one car (based on realistic budgets) i've always wanted but never owned at some point.
