  1. Carrie freaked me out, most of its quite boring but the end is not what I was expecting, so did the original texas chainsaw massacre, I watched it in my bedroom on my old black and white tv (on a school night too ) when I was about 12, I thought it would be a good idea but didn't sleep well that night. I made my wife watch it recently when I got it on blu ray, she thought it was sh*t, I still think it's good. And misery is good too.
  2. Do you by any chance work here Dunk? or just get commission on all bookings
  3. There probably is a way but i'm not sure how. Someone with more knowledge should be able to answer that question for you (loads of clever folk on here if you do a search and maybe PM them)? If the car is not trying to fire at all but you can hear the fuel pump you would imagine its going to point to not getting a spark. Have you tried turning it over a few times then immediately pulling the spark plugs to see if they are wet with fuel? if they are wet then you are getting fuel through so probably aren't getting a spark. I'm no mechanic but I'm guessing it would mean either the igniter, the ECU, the coilpacks or the plugs are at fault. Second hand igniters go for about £60-£100 and coilpacks are cheap enough. Seems quite expensive but it's cheaper than taking the car to a garage and even if you don't end up using them you could sell them on or keep them for spares.
  4. I think the usual way is to just swap them round (trial and error), unlikely more than one pack has gone down though so it should still start. I would try and borrow an igniter first.
  5. Have you got a turbo timer thats trying to keep the engine running after you switched it off??
  6. I'd check the igniter pack first, try and borrow one from someone. Usually get damaged if the car has been jump started incorrectly. You could also try removing the spark plugs for a few hours then re fitting them incase it has flooded (this happened to mine once, I removed the plugs, left it overnight then re fitted them, it fired up immediately the next morning).

Lexus one is about 12 quid from my toyota garage, other one is £8 ish, i've not noticed any difference between the two performance wise.
  8. As above, I read that if there is no problem with the gear changes it should only require a quick sump flush every year or two, draining the box completely can cause more harm than good because it loses all the additives it needs to lubricate it. A full flush should only be performed if there is a problem with the box. I would just drain the sump (2 litres ish?) and see how it responds.
  9. Try Livingstone Warman in somerset for a good quote, they seem to go for the cheapest possible price straight in without p#ssing about with daft opening quotes.
  10. True, as you said good for the price though.
  11. Looks like a good job to me, well done
  12. Do you have any pics of your garage Jamie, how did you find fitting the door (interested as I've recently built one myself)?
  13. All amazing cars, loving Rickys sleeper look though
  14. Psst, are you awake?.....I just wanted to let you know I hate you. I'm gonna wait until your asleep then punch you square in the face. Brilliant film
  15. Welcome mate, bad luck with the first one, next time should go better
  16. Whats yellow and dangerous? Shark infested Custard
  17. Supraloopy used to do them, not sure if he still does, maybe pm him?
  18. It is a nice car, but I would honestly rather have my supra than that.
  19. Sorry to hear this, why can't employers wait until after christmas to deliver the bad news? I know how you feel because i've been given my notice before on the day we were breaking up for xmas. Try not to let it get you down, you'll find something else.
  20. To be fair if anyone knows the truth about this, its going to be this man
