  1. How can you be too old for a supra, sell it, then buy an mr2 The supras much comfier than an mr2.
  2. Sorry to hear that hope you get it sorted mate.
  3. Robin Cooper's timewaster letter books are hilarious.
  4. Yeah sorry, forgot to say well done Josh, very kind of you mate.
  5. This thread is over 6 hours old and Josh is yet to post
  6. I've got one of these: http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=kemppi%20minarc%20180&source=web&cd=1&sqi=2&ved=0CGIQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kemppi.com%2Finet%2Fkemppi%2Fkit.nsf%2F0%2FC94BB94C4486DF03C2257181003BD295%3Fopendocument&ei=6UmQT4XVPM_48QOmytyWBA&usg=AFQjCNGDla-QWHnDyEVEsnC0GOrU18KDgQ Not cheap, but a quality bit of kit if you need something easy to use and reliable.
  7. If your deal falls through with Damo i'll make you an offer of £200 delivered for the skirts or £100 just for the passenger side (they are worth more but thats what i'd be willing to pay)
  8. Spats £100 Skirts at least £250-300ish, genuine OEM in good nick are like gold dust.
  9. Mine still hits 1.4 bar with the cat in, I have to use a custom made restrictor ring to bring it down to 1bar and a EBC set to 1.2bar. I've just removed the cat last weekend and the boost levels have stayed the same although it feels a bit more responsive now.
  10. Looking good Peter, the wheels are a definite improvement than on the 1st car. I'll bet that paint was expensive?
  11. Doesn't sound unreasonable to me for a cambelt change and mini service, i'd be happy to pay that if I didn't have time to do it myself
  12. I'm a bit worried that these cars are being sold for so little now , this is a real bargain GLWS
  13. Just to let people know, i've bought these lights
  14. We've got some 5" angle grinder p60 flap discs at work that say supra on too, not relevant in the slightest but thought it would add to the thread anyway
  15. Car insurance premiums are stupidly high now, I feel sorry for young drivers as it's nearly impossible to afford to pay it, my first car was £500 insurance (1 litre fiat uno), I paid £1150 third party for my swift gti when I was 18, both of those seemed excessive then but I doubt anyone under the same circumstances could get anywhere near those prices now though
  16. Cheers Ozz, theres no way i'd attempt it without a sat nav, I get lost the minute I leave Cumbria
  17. Thanks guys some good advice there, we'll maybe hire one for a few days in LA then
  18. The wife and me are going on holiday to the states this year. We're off to San Francisco, then Vegas followed by a week in Los Angeles in June for my 30th, we've been looking at taxi fares and they seem fairly expensive in the LA area. Obviously there will be loads we'll want to go and see whilst out there so we were wondering if it'll work out cheaper to hire a car and drive around instead? Has anyone uk based had experience of driving in L.A? i'm imagining it to be a nightmare (heavy traffic combined with driving on the right hand side of the road). If anyone has been there and experienced it could they tell me how they found it? is it worth it or should we just use taxi's? Thanks guys
  19. Agreed, looks far better in stock form.
  20. Mines just turned 82,000
  21. Theres a fluid spec list in the tech section somewhere mate, do a search, it tells you all you need to know
