ha ha I was just about to post about selling abroad, mine has been on Piston heads for a little while and he has been in touch with me to, he has offered to buy mine and is talking about booking a flight tomorrow. My concern now is has he been telling you guys the same thing? If not I assume its genuine, he has offered me the full asking price of £5500 and is looking at coming over on the 4th of Jan, I have been in touch with him on the text and he has called me. Does anyone think I need to be aware? suppose it depends what he has been saying to you all? Any help would be appreciated.

Lol the power is supplied from the original reverse light cables -

I did think it may be an earth problem and have since tested it on the original negative wire and on several earth points on the car. I am a little confussed to say the least -
I have recently brought some lights from the US for my girlfriends Del sol due to the way these were wired I had to come up with a different way of wiring in reverse lights. I have brought those Audi style strips and put them on the rear as reverse lights which worked perfectly for a couple of days then they started coming on when just turing on the ignition? and when going into reverse they come on brighter. I presume this is due to a small amount of current going to them on ignition. Anyone any ideas on how to resolve this issue would be much appreciated.

Sorry I mean should I uprate it or just stick to standard I dont use my car much and with the cold weather im finding my alarm is draining it all the time.

Quick question I have the oportunity to buy some cheap 18's for a mates R33 they originaly came of a Lexus IS 200. Will these fit the R33? both cars are 5 stud 114 stud diameter only difference I can see is the offset. would these wheels fit or would there be problems?

He asked me when it redlines I said around 6800 and to here him taking it up it did'nt sound right at all, I just dont believe it was done properly at all

As promissed if not a little late, does'nt mean a great deal to me but will be having a full service and a run down to Alan Jeffrey at some point to put it back on the rollers. And we will see what happens

Very true dude, cant believe this post has gone so mental. I think after all this my car just needs a good serivice and maybe a play around with when on the rollers, Gonna take it to Alan Jeffrey in Plymouth I think.

Oh my days how has this simple thread spun out of contol it's not worth bitching at each other! Yes my na is slow compaired to a tt but at the time of purchase it was a very well priced car for the the facelift model I wanted! Lets just all enjoy our cars and leave the moding to personal opinions!
