  1. same here;) just not on a 200sx.. the budgie noise.... Vid?? /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif never hear a budgie do that:)
  2. if removing your bov gave you an increase in boost (and of 4 pounds) then it is leaking like a b***ch i would put the bov back on but dont plumb up the vacuum line that way its leaking will keep your boost lower enough to do a full boost lift off and wont dump the boost in the process;) then if you still dont get the chuff..chuff..chuff, you know you have 2 leaks:p yes you do;), my turbo and intake side is stock, with a k&n panel and the surge is loud even sat in trafic, slightly quieter with the stock filter but still there and the HKS filter is inbetween the 2 volume wise;)
  3. the supe in the fast and the furious sounds like it has no dump valve to me:) YouTube Vid if there is a dump valve that can imitate this sound...do tell...
  4. an atmospheric bov is all about the sound if you have boost you can make it chirp, regardless of auto or manual box, the auto does chirp on a gear shift but in a very different sound to a manual chirp, the auto will only chirp at full throttle shift or a throttle lift
  5. Man killed in a fairy cake eating contest? Environmentalist eaten by bears? Woman killed in a live radio competition? EDIT: her name ms strange? Man who died 31 times? British man killed by laughter?
  6. i wont be that far north lol, if you like you can carry on down the a19 i might see you then:D
  7. 31mpg /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif well done congrats on the purchase, you got any plans for the supe?

    Too funny!

i must have missed this ROY? but good old nizam..
  9. if the map sensor your talking about is the one your ecu is connected to nope, if it is the old map sensor (stock oem no longer in use as you are over 1.25 bar) in other words you are just using the oem nipple on the manifold as a connection yes but dont interfere with your map sensor signal B&Q or a large hardware store, where i got a load of T, 90 angles and straight connectors from i posted a picture on this thread;)
  10. i would have a guess at that being a UK/EU spec with a maf sensor as opposed to a map, the maf sensor reads the air going into the turbo (and hens out the atmospheric bov = megga rich) and the map sensor measures the pressure in the intake manifold;) IMO a propper flame out such as wez's looks pretty cool and so does the example posted by L33 flaming on the open roads is illegal and mr plod will have you;)
  11. you dont wanto be fitting one of these to a supe, especialy if J-spec;)
  12. just had a rear quarter repaired myself on the passenger side, it blends into the roof and is a big job to do, my repair came to £2600 all payed for by the tw@t that reversed into me:(
  13. yep cant wait to fit the 1st decat i got aswell the jujitsubo seems to be very free flowing aswell as quiet soo we well see;) going to play with the greddy BCC in the morning
  14. used to save about 60-70% then i moved into a flat, ended up having to come home again, bought a supra then joined ped's club:d its the insurance more than the supra tbh renewal on 1st October:) and hopefully sky will help me out;)
  15. just uploading a vid on youtube as we speak for the: Fujitsubo legalis R type EVOLUTION and HKS 2nd decat:D EDIT:
  16. alluminium (52021) is very soft its there for a reason;) i hope for the best for you (but to be honnest if the chassis leg is in good enough condition to be able to unbolt the ally bar i cant see it being that bad if at all) and unless it smacked the mot tester in the face (very bent) i doubt they would notice;)
  17. and the bumper reinforce bar (52029-14030) was £45.53 inc vat from mr toyota (i couldnt get a second hand 1, 1 week before christmas:)) i think from your description this is the part you have bent? i bolts to the wings either side and holds/supports the bumper below the headlights
  18. pic speak a thousand words mate;) i had a similar bump about 6 months back these are the bits i needed, but i went under a rangerover and all damage was at light hight if your ally bar does need replacing i think you should cross your fingers and hope the bar did its job and got squished saving the chassis behind it;)
  19. :(Sorry to hear this Chris, My condolences to you and your family:(
  20. welcome!!! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif
