  2. i was just thinking about this at work and thought id have a look not been on in a couple of days, ill take it at that mate if its still there, pm on its way;)
  3. 6 - 7 k for any 6 speed would be a good find. mine is for sale, bpu j-spec low miles, needs a little work 7k ono;) see my sig;) Costs for fuel - i get from 15 to 28mpg on the motorway, its sort off a game i play:taped: Oil - 4500 to 5000 miles 'bout 100 quid. Plugs - ngk bkr6e do the job fine on a stocker, less than £12 a set Tyres - don't skimp - 500 - 1000 notes. tax just under £200/ year my mates got a type r, fuel wise not much different,(he drives like a idiot most of the time, i drive like a granny all the time:p) insurance - i had a quote on one same time as the supe £500 per year less for type r (20, 2y n/c), however the supe looks much, much better and will leave a type r for dust;) just be wary of where the power comes from;) sorry AndyT, i just coppied your post;)
  4. right just phoned him, its off a subaru impreza i dont know compatibilities with supra you'd have to check, £20 plus postage (about £6-8 i recon ) for ally sandwich plate anodised blue the adapter is threaded ready for an oil cooler aswell i think, sensor and gauge, i would have to confirm tho he did not say where the gauge is from but its all blacked out and lights up iirc goes round to 100psi
  5. my dad has one, it cost him a bomb, dont think he'd let it go cheap, ill ask him for you;) he might want to keep it with the gauge though, ill ask anyway;)
  6. 71'000km in japan + 15'700 miles in uk comes to about 87'000 on clock and 61'000 miles in total:)

  10. i could not get any pics again unfortunately but i have doug out a couple that highlight the damage, it really is minor and would take little to fix but i am offering it to anyone who is looking for a supe to change to there likings ie fitting a body kit, new bumper, bonnet, skirts and spats and you would not know;) i am not in a hurry to sell, my insurance is paid up until 1st august, then what i do will depend on the insurance renewal price, however i have my lowest price in mind and if an offer comes along above that price;) the damage is highlighted please note that the bonnet stay bent the spam panel down and when it was pulled back up it was kinked, i had everything checked for straightness and geo alinement's and it was all spot on, (except the kink) thanks for looking
  11. at full tilt (read foot to the floor) the traction control cuts back a little on the gas to allow a smoother transition between gears, i small chirp my be heard then but not a full tsshhhh sound the manual give unless you lift off your self;), however if the stock tc is disabled in some way you just get a harsh gear change and no tsshhhh;)

J-Spec TT 6speed 61'000 miles i think its come time to sell, things have been getting hard and investments in my future career have made it difficult to justify keeping my dream car:( unfortunately my supra needs a little work and i dont have the funds to be able to sort it out, due to a little mishap at Christmas i ended up bumping a RangeRover and dinting a pannel details are to follow;) few good bits: *just had a full dash respray *got boost gauge *narrow band air fuel gauge *custom dials made in red (elglo made by speed hut with optional uprated dimmer:eyebrows:) *it is at full bpu level, well it will be when the decat goes back on and will run 1 to 1.1 bar *custom boot install nowt special just 2 10 inchers in a carpeted box *jvc chameleon head with all manuals unit 6.5" rears and 4" fronts *its got some really rare wheels on it;) gen 1 work rezax split rims 9x17front and 10x17 rears *mot till june 2009, tax till end october/novermber *2 new front tires, rears only half worn *cat1 imobiliser and alarm by toad i think its 616i? bad parts *there was a low speed impact to the drivers side front wing and the 3rd party did not accept fault so no repairs could be made, i replaced all the nessasery parts: Lights, bonnet, but there are a few deep scratches still on the (stock) bumper and the bonnet i bought was intended to be resprayed although it is still red its paint is a bit bad and a couple of dings in it also, and the drivers wing has a little dint in from the top of the light, can be pulled and filled but i wanted a full pannel(witch are harder to find than some thing thats not lost) * the steering wheel lether is split but replacements seem fairly common, just funds again the car it currently has 87000 km/miles mixed on the clock, it was imported with 71'000km and have certificate, i think all mot's in the uk are present and 2 uk owners (im the second) all services receipts kept form the previous owner and its had 2 oil changes with me, cambelt's done and auxiliary belt aswell, coil pack clips done more details can be found in my garage TurboBrett's Garage i realy dont know the value of my supe, due to the very fast changing market and the fact it needs a little work but i am looking for around £7000 or make me an offer or even better make me an offer px/ing a 1275cc mini;) maybe another small runaround;) (please read not a shed:d) Thanks:( EDIT: more pics will follow but it dark and wet so not ideal picture taking time;)

    Engine bay: HKS ssqv painted cam, spark cover (ok, a dodgy colour lol) Exhaust: Homebrew first decat HKS second decat fujitsubo llegalis R type evolution, cat back system Drivetrain: Manual 6 Speed Getrag gearbox LSD at the rear Suspension, Wheels, Tires & Brakes: WORK Rezax gen 1 split rims, made in 1994 believed to have been on the car since then, could do with a refurbish HKS springs on Bilstein dampers i understand it is lowered but i am unsure Stock J-Spec brakes Interior: Fully resprayed dash, in original colour, you could not tell unless you touched it custom modified boost gauge in clock position, narrow band afr gauge mounted to the door pillar amp under passenger seat changed for more power twin 10" custom boot install mounted in the boot, boot still useable just even smaller:p JVC Chameleon Head Unit after market speakers 6.5" in the back and 4" in the front Exterior: Stock at the minute, need a new bumper tho , Performance: The Supe is still at stock boost however will be at full bpu very soon aiming for 1 bar;)

    i am doing my CAT C in the coming months and as part of my course (doing a block course thing) i got a book called "the official dsa theory test for the drivers of large vehicles" its £17 but mine was free (well sort of)...imo well worth it every question they can ask is in there i already have had my medical and got my provisionals, however as the trucks i was going to drive didnt have a digi tacho i dont have a card for it, do i need one?
