you cant just do the C+E anymore you have to do the C first, the artic C+E test is the same tough, i have been doing my cat C, unfortunately i have not passed yet, been one serious every time, it really is hard my step dads a lorry driver and i always took the piss after he cam home from a 10 hour day at work (sitting on his rear all day) but he was knackerd i now know why:d driving forward in an artic is easyer as they bend and whilst the rear axle do under cut you, your already drived to compensate that in the cat C truck driving backwards in alot harder but once you can do it well you dont forget lol, id go for it whilst your still squeeky clean

cheers for that, my speed converter and delimiter are coming out this week, im convinced its them it did seem to cure it using the code 42 error fix i found but then it came back, i thought the gearbox problem was separate (if it is a problem) it bugs me lol im going to sort it one by one if it take for ever lol:d

sorry to dig up an old thread but this seems the most relevant, im going through the problems with my supe, i thought i had most sorted but as of yesterday they came back, i think my speed converter is mainly to blame but im curious about this gearbox lockup? right as im going up the gears in D (na auto) at light throttle it goes 1-2-3-4 but when im driving abit harder it goes 1-2-3 then clicks in to 4th but the revs only drop by 2-300rpm at tops but if i lift off it pulls fully into 4th, and when on the motorway i give it some gas to overtake it gives a good 'kickdown' but the box doesnt change down it just kicks the revs up and then hold them 2-300rpm lower that 3rd gear would, switching od off at this point kicks it down into 3rd it feels like it has a 3.5 gear witch i know it doesnt it only seems to do this when the O/D off light is flashing, it flashes randomly but once it starts it doesnt stop untill next restart i have searched alot but dont seem to be turning up answers anyone experienced similar?

on my last tt i had hks spring on stock bilstein (sp?) dampers i liked them alot if a bit to hard, on this one (n/a) i have tein superstreets, and i like these tooo bit softer and adjustable hight and bound/rebound id definitely buy these again if needed if yours is leaning loads in the corners have a look at the arb's drop links mine could do with being replaced by the looks i am no expert with the supra so cant comment more lol:)

i had a bonnet posted, wrapped up really well, cost 35quid iirc and got very damaged

hi mate, welcome to (or back to?) the club, i have just bought another supra after selling up and going back to mini's, but anyway im back here, this time round i have an N/A auto, (last one was a TT6) if you have not yet been in an auto dont cross it off the list untill you have had a test drive, i was quite impressed, ist still not a manual though:D
