I'm still absolutely ecstatic and I'm probably looking forward to picking her up more than when I've been when getting it back after works been done on it!!. Thanks to all again and hopefully I'll have a bit of time later on this aft to answer some of the Qs that have been asked and give a few more details as to actual damage done etc. Shamefully I've realised that I've yet to publically thank the police who found the car, good on you guys for a job very well done, many many thanks to all involved.

Too true mate, crazy thing is I'm probably in a better mood right now than if it had never been taken in the first place:ecstatic:!!

Oh yes!!!. Seems that one of his like minded mates took a disliking to his newly aquired pride and joy and dobbed him in:p !!! Yeah they've had prints taken off it this afternoon, got some good ones off the steering wheel and some of his personal possesions were in the car too!! Hmmm good point that!!!. Can you guys please, please, please also tell their mates that I've got it back now .

HURRAH !!!! Got a call this afternoon from the Police. My car has been found safe and well in Stanningley, Leeds. Damage is minimal, limited (as far as they can see) to the drivers door lock and ignition. I really can't begin to tell you all what a releif this is as it was really annoying me and as much as I tried to forget about it and just get on with things (being v busy at work has helped no end) it just kept on playing on my mind. Where is my car?, is it burt out?, being stripped down? etc etc. Naturally I'd like to say a big thank you to all the moderators and members on here for their support, well wishes, and offers of help. It really is appreciated and truly helped me to keep my chin up. I've seen many a post on here over the years saying what a great forum this is and whilst I've never doubted it this was an exemplary example of a caring comunity. I wish you all the absolute best of christmases and New Years, two things which I too will now be able to enjoy. Time for a pint me thinks .

Hi there, I guess that seeing as you've used your first post here to try and help me out, the least I can do is offer you a warm welcome to the club and naturally say thanks for your help in raising awareness regarding my car. Not sure if you own a Supra yourself, if you do you'll find this a really helpful place to be a member of and even if you don't and just have an interest in Supras then there's plenty of info on here regarding them. Any ideas / suggestions where in Bradford may be a good place to have a search around?.

Just thought I'd let you all know that as yet I've had no news as to the where abouts of the car or anything else for that matter. I'll be popping out tonight agaig to a few of the places that people hang out in and I'm considering getting some postcards printed up with a pic on one side and the details on the other to hand out. Once the posts back up and running I'll be happy to send them out to any members that would be kind enough to hand them out at any meets / events that they go to. Thanks again to all that have taken the time to read this thread and to those that have posted their well wishes. Cheers guys.

Don't I know it Michael. Funny you should mention that as I was talking to one of my neighbours about it earlier and we concluded that whilst if your car was out in the open / in a well lit area it meant it was harder for people to maybe nick it yet more likely a theif would see it. However if it's hidden away theifs are less likely to see it but if they do it's easy to spend a while under cover of darkness working round the security of the car. I've Been out tonight driving around a few unsavory places in Leeds / Bradford where stolen cars appartently often end up getting dumped. No sign of mine but then I guess it was a bit of a shot in the dark although I feel better that at least I've had a look as opposed to sitting here just imagining it just sat there. On the good side I've got to say that when I went down to a couple of trading estates / McDonalds car parks all of the lads and lass's in their Nova's / Corsa's / Astra's etc that I've previousley tarred with the boy racer badge have taken a real interest and asked what they should do / who should they call if they see it and were reaching for their phones to take reg number / details well before I asked them to. Restores a bit of faith really and I think I'll knock up some flyers similar to my initial post with the cars details and a pic to go round handing out to them tomorrow night.

As I put in my earlier post whilst there is a (granted slim) chance that it may have been lifted / towed away I don't really want to go public on what security was / is fitted to it. I will happily add to that though that it was CAT1 and the key is still in my possesion.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys and I'm sorry I've not had / got enough time to answer them all individually. A few people have asked about the security on the car but whilst there is a (granted slim) chance that it may have been lifted / towed away I don't really want to go public on what security was / is fitted to it. Once again thanks for all your well wishes and I'll post any news as soon as and when I get it.

Many thanks.

I'm actually live in a small town called Yeadon right next to Leeds Bradford airport. Not too bad an area but we do (according to the Police, who are based in Pudsey and to be fair have been pretty helpful) get quite a few poeple traveling to us just to come thieving (makes sense I guess). Thanks for asking Mawby if he can get some details in a nice prominant place for all to see and naturally thanks to all others that have posted offering to keep their eyes open and giving their well wishes, it's much appreciated.

Got a bit of a nasty suprise this morning when one of the lads turned up for work (I work from home and hadn't been out yet)and jokingly asked me when my Supra got nicked. Shot outside and had my worst fears confimed when I found an empty parking space where my Supra of over 9 years had been parked up. It was / is a 94 Uk spec which to the casual observer looked pretty much stock but in reality has quite a few mods / cosmetic details which would if found make positive identification very easy. Details are as follows. Exterior Details: 1994 UK Spec Silver TT 6 Speed Manual. Reg L679 JEP (Front Number Plate Not Fitted When Stolen) Stock UK 17" Wheels In Need Of A Refurb. Passenger Side Front Wheel With Several Deep Circular Scrapes On It Headlamp washers / Front Bumper Trim / Lower Sills And Rear Arch Plastic Trims All Painted Silver NOT Black As In Photo. HKS Super Dragger Exhaust Clear Front And Side Indicators (codensation in left front) Car Phone Ariel Fitted To Rear Window, Top Centre Mint Condition Intercooler (Chris Wilson Stock Replacement) Interior Details: Drivers Seat Has A Split Seam On The Right Side Boost Guage Fitted In Place Of Clock Water Injection Pump Fitted In Engine Bay On Drivers Wing That's pretty much all I can think of for now and I'll add any relevant details as and when I think of them. Naturally if everyone could keep their eye's open for my car I'd really appreciate it and if anyone gets a sighting of it or indeed hears anything / has any information then please get in touch with me or the Poice as soon as possibe using the following numbers Work: 0113 250 4444 Mob: 07770 44 74 78 Pudsey Police: 0113 241 4859 Crime No AA-06-32945 Crimestoppers (allows the caller to remain anonymous should you know something and not want to get involved / implicated) 0800 555 111 Thanks for taking the time to check out this thread, fingers crossed I'll have some good news soon. John.
