  2. I'm interested too, hope you can sort out a new group buy m8. Allready 12 new people interested...
  3. Since I installed a oil temp gauge on my MKIV its been leaking oil and I'm really tired of it. I plugged the temp sensor in a GReddy sandwitch plate between the oil filter and the block. I removed the filter and tightened the sandwitch plate twice, and there is still a oil leak. The only solution I can see is to remove the sandwitch plate and use the sensor as the oil drain nut(the nut you unplug when you flush the oil). But I have no idea if it fits? I know the Defi oil temp sensor is 1/8 NPT, Do you know if it fits or have any solution to my problem, what did all you guys do? [sAD][/sAD] I guess almost everybody installed a oil temp gauge.
  4. Do anybody have any photos of the HKS SSQV supra specific kit recirculated?
  5. Its a US spec, the same as UK spec... I just need to know how you mount the pipe that comes with the kit to the MAF sensor.. I can take some photos later
  6. Hmm I think there is another way.. I hope somebody that installed it can reply to this topic...
  7. How do I connect the pipe which is supplied with the blitz sus air intake kit to the MAF sensor? when there is only following 1 coupler? I know the coupler needs to be between the filter and the pipe. how you can help me out:(
  8. How come it didnt fit the UK spec m8?
  9. I heard something about that it would harm the engine to fit a fcd, due to the engine is with MAF sensor, The fcd trick the ECU to think that it is runing lower boost, and will cause wrong fueling. Please correct me if I'm mistaking..
  10. Yes it is hitting fuel cut, and yes it feels like hitting something:blink: But then again, on UK/US spec every mod you make like(de-cat, FMIC and intake) Is adding boost. But I believe your right if you want to get boost level above 1 bar you sure need a boost controller, but in my situation I want it lowered abit so I wont hit fuel cut. Thats why I want to know if I can add a restictor ring, to hold it down. There were some topics on the US supraforum about people hitting fuel cut(with US-spec) at cold days and the only mod they had were de-cat.
  11. I removed both CATS + installed a HKS hard IC pipe kit + boost gauge, the weather is cold in Denmark not like the US, this will also increase the boost level a little bit, And yes it hits fuel cut when i floor it at 60mph+ boosting 1bar for 3 sec.
  12. I don't think there is anything wrong with the car.. It do would it should hit fuel cut at 0.9-1bar, then people add a FCD and a boost controller to raise the boost. But I just want to know if it is possible to add a restrictor ring and hold the boost level a tiny bit under fuel cut level. Then I don't have to install a FCD and a boost controller. Will it harm anything on the UK/US engine if I add a restrictor ring?
  13. OK my car is fuel cutting at 1 bar! If I don't want to install a fuel cut defender and a bosot controller, is it then possible to install a restrictor ring that will hold the boost just under fuel cut? Do people never install restrictor rings on UK/US supras?:S
  14. OK so I turn the car on, take the cap of the bottle, move the steering wheel slowly from side to side, and refill the bottle. and repeat it? Is this correct?
  15. Is it normal that it make that sound?
  16. OK thanks!, it wont harm anything will it? It dosent sound good:( and the sound get ekstremly loud when you just turn the steering wheel alittle bit?
  17. Are you sure, a guy just told I didnt have to do it.
  18. I just tryed to turn the car on again, if i turn the steering wheel just a tiny bit, the sound gets alot louder, it must come from the power steering pump, anybody know what I should do?
  19. I remounted the power steering lines, do the system need to be bleeded? I filled some Dexron III oil on it because it lost some when I had the power steering lines off. And now when I started the engine it sounds like someing is rubbing.. Hope you can help me out:(
  20. I know that the GReddy 3-row kit fits with stock air box, because its written in the manual, But I'm not sure about this Spec-M because it dosent seem to fit:(
  21. I also have problems fitting the first pipe right over the air box, do anybody know if it possible to run stock air box with this intercooler kit?:'(
  22. Have no idea what to do, do these 2 pipes need to go above or under the IC pipe?
