  1. It's supposed to be SORN'ed within 5 working days of the tax running out so you could already have a fine on the way I'm afraid. Just spoke to the missus (works at the DVLA), sounds like its a bit of a lottery as to wether or not you get the fine. Sometimes they don't send out the fine until they check the records a few months down the line.
  2. I agree! I'm not trying to drag it all up again, but I think the point he was trying to make was that he didn't have anywhere else to park. I've seen where he lives and finding somewhere to park that isn't blocking someone else isn't easy at the best of times. In the short term, he wouldn't have many options other than to quit his job so that he no longer had the van.
  3. Sounds good to me I'm away from the 8th-22nd March though. 1 - Daman 2 - Abz 3 - Probrox 4 - 5 - Must be coming up to curry time again as well?
  4. £3,100 if you go to Tesco, and clubcard points too! Seems to be a bit more than some of the Jewellers from what I can see. Only until the end of January though. https://www.tescogoldexchange.com/
  5. A waterproof adhesive like 'Sticks like Sh#t' would probably work better, but i still wouldn't want to trust it too much.
  6. As above, always make the best impression you can.
  7. Have you got any idea how much you want for this yet?
  8. I got one from ebay but it didn't work. Ended up getting a 2 into 1 version from Asda. I think it was about £15 and changes between inputs automatically, but also has a button to change manually if required. No loss in quality at all that I noticed.
  9. Nearly had him with Michael Dawson, He guessed John Terry. I gave him another two questions and he got it though.
  10. I've got a spare RZ now if anyone needs it. I was waiting ages and then I get 2 within half an hour. Has anyone been on http://www.gtplanet.com? They have got lots of tuning/geo setups for different cars if anyone is having trouble on certain races.
  11. Interested in the clear indicators if they haven't gone yet
  12. This is George, our Bernese Mountain dog. We got him in April at 8 weeks old: He's 9 1/2 months now and still growing fast!
  13. He's 9 months now and 45kg. I'm not sure i've got room anywhere for a crate big enough to hold him now. The wooden dumbells sound like a good idea, he seems to like chewing wood as I found out with the stair nosings and the bannister spindles. He has got a kong but he hasn't shown much interest with the biscuits inside and he finishes the paste in minutes. I'll try freezing it and see if that helps. When we leave him I normally stroke him before I go and he gets lots of fuss when we get back, Is this the wrong thing to do? Thanks for the advice, i'll let you know how it goes
  14. Any idea how to stop a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy chewing everything in site while i'm out of the house? I'll check the website tonight when I get home from work and look for some pointers. Also, off topic, but I might be looking for a rescue dog to keep him company in the next month or so. Can you reccomend anywhere in Suffolk/Essex to look? Oh, and any breed ideas as well, need a smallish dog to keep the missus quiet (the Bernese was my choice) that is good with other dogs and small children.

I'll play again if it gets going, as long its not at the same time as the GT5 races
  16. If it is frozen you would probably be safer with a hairdrier or similar. Are you sure it is frozen and not just seized?
  17. I'm going to give it another go in the morning, fed up with it now. Time for GT5. I'll check the door and water inlet first. I'm pretty sure its not the pump because it all drains out if I cancel the program completely.
  18. My dishwasher has just started playing up. It is starting a cycle but only seems to get 3 or 4 minutes in before it gets stuck. When I open the door it has cold water in the base and nothing inside is wet yet. Its a Siemens Avantguade if that helps. I've had a look round on the net and a common problem seems to be a float switch or anti leak device. Unfortunately I can't find either of them so I thought I'd ask on here. Not your normal help request i know, but i thought it would be worth a go:)
