  1. OMG! I always bring Manta force up when talking about toys I used to own, hardly anyone remembers it though! I had everything in that pic and more!
  2. As above, In great condition, with Neofuture gel Supra logo badges to fit oval recesses, Never been used since refurb. £60 delivered (quite heavy!) Pics to follow
  3. Didn't go for that in the end, was a really nice car, but I was contacted via PM by a member on the Legacy forum and informed that he'd looked at the same car when it was in the auction in Japan, only difference was it had done 137,000KM (85K!) So at some point it's been clocked! Back in the market, Corolla is still for sale but I've now been offered a WRX Impreza an an Evo 5 GSR
  4. Yeah apparently Porsche had an input with the styling, front and rear bumpers, skirts and rear spoiler Pics of the one I'm looking at, the wheels aren't the originals unfortuantely...
  5. Hi all! Well as some of you may have seen I'm trying to sell my Corolla compressor, great little car, but need something with a big boot and 4 doors. I'm currently on the verge of handing over a deposit for a ltd edition Subaru Legacy B4 Blitzen. 2.0 twin turbo 4wd Has all the usual jap electrical gadgets, full black leather, B.O.V and APEXi exhaust. Obviously I have my car which I need to either sell or P/X, so I phoned the guy up (import dealer) a friendly Japanese guy, gave him the details of my car and sent him a load of photos of it and he offered me a superb P/X price, he says the Blitzen just needs to be registered, converted for UK use, M.O.T'd and Taxed and I can collect, says he can have it ready for next Tuesday, would probably make the trip down on a saturday though. It's a fresh import and he says it comes with some history, My only concern was he said he was going to make the car show the correct mileage, I.E it's showing in KM's and he's calculated what it is in Miles (45k) and that's what will now show on the odo, is that normal? I'd imagine a BIMTA or auction sheet would verify miles? My Supra TT was converted to record in miles, but it was doing so on top of the original KM reading, I.E it had done 70k but 50k of that was in KM. Anyway, does this seem a good deal to everyone? Are the B4's reliable? Anything I need to watch out for? Any comments welcome! Kev
  6. Does the missus want it then? Got someone from Hereford interested
  7. Lol! well, you got my number mate If it had 4 doors I'd keep it no problem as it's a cracking little car!
  8. As above, selling as I need something bigger with 4 doors and a bigger boot... Full spec here.... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2345067.htm Regards, Kev
  9. Ok, thanks for your help lads! I must admit, cloning came to mind when I read the email...
  10. Hi all! My dad has his '07 plate Jag X Type sport premium for sale, it's advertised on Pistonheads and Autotrader. He's had a couple of obvious scammers "interested" and has ignored them, but today he received an email from Pistonheads today which sounded pretty genuine. The guy was asking some general questions, was the car still for sale, did the car have FSH, V5 etc. But then he went on to ask for the registration number (it's on almost all of the pics! ) and the chassis number That for some reason sent alarm bells ringing for me, he said these details were for an HPI check.... I told my dad just to glaze over the chassis no. part as if you hadn't read it, but the the guy replied asking what the V5 serial number was, The V5 issue date, and the mileage of the car (again, mileage is in the ad!) for an HPI check He then finished by asking what payment method he would accept. My dad hasn't replied yet as he's never been asked for such extensive details and he was a little unsure of what to do. I told him not to reply til I'd spoken with you guys, the only bit I could answer was the payment part. I'd ask for cash or bankers draft and ask the guy to follow me to the bank so it could be checked and deposited. What do you think?
