  1. BTTT! Still open to offers too. Can't believe there's been no interest on here yet!!
  2. They're up for £60 on the last thread, say £50 + delivery??
  3. Off the back of my last thread here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?265847-Some-BPU-and-styling-parts&p=3350044#post3350044 I've still got a few parts left. Make me offers on these. Just need them gone as they're only taking up space at work! Stainless restrictor ring Brand new universal A'PEXi Power Intake Stock TT airbox in perfect condition and with a used stock filter
  4. Hi guys, As I'm sure some of you have seen, I sold my TT6 last month to cut back on cost and get saving for a deposit to get on the dreaded property ladder! We've now taken the decision to also sell my girlfriend's Celica as per the title. It's on 108,000 miles and has had 4 previous keepers, the last one being my Dad's wife who bought it in Jan '05. My girlfriend Kate then bought it from her in Oct '09. It's got a full service history up until Kate's ownership when I took over the servicing myself except for one service that was done by a specialist - Toyoda Tech - in Sept '10. It's got a couple of choice mods: GT front splitter TTE lowering springs TTE centre exit exhaust 4300k HIDs & LED side lights The bodywork is in stunning condition and ALWAYS turns heads (In fact, on some occasions we got more looks in the Celica than the Supra!) There is the odd car park dink and a FEW stone chips on the front end but it is literally just a few as we had the whole front end smartened up last year when the front splitter was fitted including the wing mirrors. The wheels are passable but could do with a refurb to be as good as the rest of the bodywork. We always planned on putting bigger wheels on rather than refurb'ing but never got round to it. There is the optional extra Premium Pack giving leather interior and AC climate control. AC and all electrics etc all function as they should. Tax runs until the end of June and MOT until January 12th. The private plate in the pictures below will be removed and the original plate re-assigned. Looking for £2700 or offers around there. I highly encourage a viewing as pictures don't really do it justice, but I'll leave you with some anyway. I hope I've covered everything, but if there's anything else you want to know, don't hesitate to ask. Simon. 07824632799
  5. This is a great thread! My mates take the piss out of me for how far I've travelled to buy some of my cars...I've never left the bloody country for one!! Lol. Waiting with baited breath for photos!!
  6. RoadHawk is the only way to go IMHO. They're brilliant. My Dad and brother both use them and have caught some pretty horrific driving! They seem expensive at £200 but you've only got to have 1 non-fault accident that you get blamed for and it's paid for itself instantly!!
  7. I agree. I've recently run a FS thread for lots of parts and have left the prices with SOLD next to them for this very reason. I see no logical reason why prices should be removed. It only makes it harder for other people to value their parts and inevitablely leads to parts / cars loosing value as people under price them for fear of being smacked down for over pricing.
  8. To be fair, with the C70 it was more the kick down that bothered me. You floored it and it seemed to take an eternity (more like about 1 sec) before it did anything. When it did finally wake up it was like a rocket ship! I guess this wouldn't be too much of an issue with a diesel though as I wouldn't be buying it to drive hard!
  9. Agreed. I do like the idea of auto, I did enjoy driving my auto C70 T5...sometimes, but it has to be said, Volvo's auto boxes are crap!! Soooooo lazy!!
  10. Well the Volvo does sound the better option to me. Graham S, I'd prefer to have an auto for that added laid back comfort, but they are a fair bit juicier than the manual which then starts to defeat the object of getting the diesel on the economy side.
  11. Yep, the same 2.2 4cyl 140bhp 251lbs/ft engine as the CRV. My Dad has a CRV with this engine and it is definafely a lovely engine but not quite as refined or powerful as the Volvo one.
  12. Seen both of these and they're great. Another one for the list is this one, makes me laugh out loud every time I watch it without fail!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UiR4TSLXo0&sns=em
  13. So, the Supra has gone, the proceeds of which have cleared all my debts ready to get saving for a deposit so we can get on that dreaded property ladder! I'm now driving around in what was my daily, a '98 Fiesta 1.3. As fine as that is for beating to and from work, it's the last car you want to climb into for a motorway run and it is gutless to say the least. So, I've got about £4000 left over from the sale and think I'm going to go for a nice comfy DERV that'll give me similar'ish running costs but with a bit of poke, comfort and refinement. I've narrowed it down to an S60 D5 (163bhp) or an Accord i-CDTi (140bhp) My mate has an S60 and it is a really really nice place to be. It's got all the toys I'd want, is ÜBER comfy and although it's a DERV, the 5cyl engine has a bloody lovely note to it! The Accord looks slightly better IMO (which isn't the be all and end all now really...neither are a Supra!!) it is a bit cheaper to tax and gets a few more MPG but it seems a bit cheaper and more plasticky inside. I'll probably have to pay a little bit more for a nice Accord too. Any input on either of these would be appreciated, or perhaps suggestions of another car I may have overlooked? Whatever it is must be comfy, reasonably sized and have cruise control!
  14. I have an iPhone and have recently got the 'new' iPad. I rarely used my laptop before having an iPad and did everything on the iPhone. Only time I used to use the laptop was to update the iPhone, but now iCloud is here...even that is redundant!! The iPad is SOOOOOO much better than a laptop. I find it far easier to use (touch screen is so much better than those gash touch pad mouse things) In landscape mode, the keyboard is just as, if not quicker to type with, photos are FAR superior in quality, battery life is massively better, you don't need anti-virus, there is almost nothing you can't do on it! The list literally goes on and on! The single biggest thing for me though is the sheer speed! Everything happens instantly and when you want to use it you just open the cover (mine auto-locks/unlocks) and off you go. No boot up or waiting for this that and the other to start. It's just generally awesome!!! FYI.....posted using my iPad!
  15. Erm, I don't have a tracking number to hand but delivery should be imminent. It was collected on Wednesday.
  16. No worries mate. Everyone else should have their parts now too I'd have thought! Still got a few bits left...anyone??
  17. All of the above parts are being collected by the courier today. Adam, I'll try and get the FCD in a jiffy bag for you today if I can get back from work in time to catch the post.
  18. Right, had a late finish from work today so I've not managed to get any parts sent I'm afraid but the following parts are now wrapped and ready to go: Spats Clock Boost controller and spark plugs Defi controller 2nd decat V160 gear oil Really sorry for the delay in getting this all gone. I've got work coming out my ears and trying to keep up with this thread is a mission but I'm doing my best and I thank you for your patience. Also found my stock TT air box with ducting. Great condition. £45 I'll add photos to the 1st post.
  19. Nice one, thanks mate. Sorry for not confirming that with you. I am snowed under with enquiries and trying respond and work is a mission. I'll get it sent ASAP. Hoping to have an early finish today so should be able to get it away to you.
  20. Just remembered I've also got a brand new Apexi universal filter complete with adaptor plate. From memory it's a 70mm adaptor. I bought this for my Volvo S70R but it didn't fit. Might be of use for a Supra?? Will get pics up later. £50
  21. Thanks mate. I'll get everything packaged up and sent ASAP.
  22. In that case I'll split as there is more chance of someone wanting just the meter than the unit. How much do you think the control unit is worth then??
  23. What are you after? The meter or the control unit??
