  1. I'd sell the NA and buy a TT if it were me. That way you'll stand a better chance of getting your money back should you ever sell. If you convert an NA to a TT, it won't make it worth the same amount as a genuine TT and would ultimately make the conversion dearer than a swap! If however you would rather convert your NA, it does sound like Keron is the man but I'd try and call him if I were you as he's terrible at returning PMs from my experience!! Perhaps he's too busy doing NA-TT conversions!!
  2. I'm after a spare stock lip. Not sure if they're different between facelift and pre facelift but if so I'll want a facelift one. Want to paint it silver to go on with my OEM skirts and spats but want to keep my existing one unpainted.
  3. If he wants to pay you electronically, contact him, give him your bank details and get him to do an online transfer. Once the money is cleared into your account it's yours!! If he needs to use a credit card, he can always do balance transfer into his account. Just means he'll have to take a hit on the fee! Either way, my car wouldn't be going anywhere without cash in my hand or firmly in my bank account!!
  4. Great car as a run about. I've had two Volvos. Loved them for what they were but don't expect them to handle in any way shape or form!! Like driving a soap dish. Also, you say it's a 2.4, to the best of my knowledge, they never made the phase one with a 2.4. They were 2.0 or 2.5. The later shape phase 2 had a 2.4.
  5. I don't think the filter will bolt directly into the intake pipe as the stock IC pipework is in the way. I think I'll need need the following to get the filter under the IC pipework and into the same position as the airbox. 85mm hose joiner - 45degree reducing silicone bend 85mm/75mm - 75mm A'PEXi adapter - filter. Does this sound right or am I overlooking anything?

  7. Fair play bud!! I wish I was in a position like that! Frankly, I wish there were more people like you asking higher end prices for these fantastic cars as it would keep the values higher! Enjoy the TVR! Also great (fun) cars but don't bank on the reliability you're used to in the Supra! It may not be long before you wish you'd accepted that £6000 for repairs!!
  8. errrm no I don't, but I HAVE just made a massive mess of my keyboard!!! *leaves to go and get cleaned up!*
  9. Excellent. Is it actually a 3" adapter I need? I guess then I also need a 3" silicone hose and a 3" hose joiner? Does the silicone hose need to be straight or need a bend in it to get under the stock IC pipework??
  10. Nice one. Any ideas where to get it or what part number to search for? I did have a very brief search before I went to bed last night but to no avail. I'm at work now so if no one knows where to go, I'll have a hunt round tonight.
  11. I bought all my hose from my local motor factors. Swapped them all on by on...sorted. There are 2 or 3 that you'll need to get from Mr T though as the bends are too tight and they kink!
  12. How come you didn't take it?? You not selling now?
  13. I bought one of these filters a while back for my old Volvo S70R. I never fitted it and have since sold that car and bought the Supra. The A'pexi filter is still brand new but obviously the fitting hardware doesn't fit. Can you get these separately to allow me to fit it up to the Supra?
  14. Does this fit a TT or is it NA only??
  15. Sorry to hear this. I wish him all the very best!!
  16. I was going to buy this! Was hours away from putting a deposit down when I got offered my TT6! Looks like an absolutely cracking car! Best of luck with the sale Jurgen!
  17. Nice one, thanks Nic. Also since found this http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ProductItem-2654.aspx And this http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ProductItem-318.aspx
  18. I've got one of these but have lost all the wiring and boost solenoid etc. Anyone know if I can get this separately and if so, where from??
  19. A few small updates. Firstly I fitted some 4300K HIDs, look soooo much better. Going to go for a drive in the dark and test them out!! I will take the car to a test station tomorrow to get the beam patterns checked but they look spot on! I also decided to fit the Defi boost gauge I've had sitting around since I bought the car!! Pretty chuffed with it. Almost looks OEM! I might spray the bezel black at some point though just so as it blends in a bit more. Whilst I had the dash apart, I decided to whip the clocks out and have a look at the wiring just to make sure everything was genuine. (the car still clocks in KMs and I'd been told that it had never been converted so the KM reading is true and correct). I totally trusted Scooter who I bought the car from but there was always that niggle in the back of my head that it could have been clocking in miles for the last 14 years then put back to KMs to sell. I'm pleased to say everything is totally original and genuine!!
  20. Hmmm...is it? If so, I'd be very interested in learning how! Would be a much neater solution.
  21. Going to have a crack at installing my boost gauge at the weekend and was after a heads up on where to pick up on the appropriate wires if anyone with a Defi can help? Also, my plan is to install the gauge in place of the clock, and the control unit in the cubby hole under the stereo. Any other possible places??
  22. My car is still clocking in KMs and reading in KMH. I don't want to do an MPH conversion as I'd like to keep it all genuine. I currently use a Road Angel for an MPH reading but it's poo and takes ages to find GPS reception, if it does at all!! Just wandering if anyone has any recommendations for a GPS speed readout? I don't want to run a sat nav all the time. Would really like something that will / could be made to fit a gauge pod or something small to sit on the dash somewhere and maybe with a HUD? Any options really, but if I have a HUD, I don't want one that requires a stick on reflective patch on the screen!
  23. Yea that was mine! Was a good meet as most of them tend to be! You should come along to a pub club when it's next on. Where in Hants are you?
