  1. IMHO, these are well up there with some of the nicest wheels for the Supra! Nice mate, GLWS!
  2. I'm going to have to duck out of this one as I don't think the car will be ready in time! 1. Ricky49 2. Lee P 3. Bullet_uk (provisionally) 4. fonze1035 5. Jimojameso (prov) 6. Jamesy (a definite maybe!) 7. Suprajames 8. Si's Supe (hopefully) 9. Jim_jimmy1 ( work depending ) 10. Dreamscape36
  3. No worries! Lightec are a brilliant company to deal with too. Yes, same bulbs for the rear too. Just realised I may not have made it clear in my post, the CREEs at the rear are in the number plate lights, not tail lights. Don't think they do CREE tails. I'll edit that.
  4. Here they are. http://www.lightec-autostyle.co.uk/high-power-cree-xenon-white-sidelight-bulbs-p-243.html It doesn't mention E-marking on the page but I've NEVER had any issues with MOT.
  5. I actually think that looks nice with the R33 front. The rest are pretty pants though.
  6. I am indeed, as well as seal kits, transfer seals and stainless rear pistons.
  7. Well, it didn't all go back together early this week!! I found that 3 of the rear pistons were pitted so took CW's advice and opted to replace the 4 rear pistons. They're on their way. In the meantime- Gave the calipers an initial wash with wheel cleaner to remove the penetrating oil from trying to remove the seized pins. (Then promptly washed and disinfected the sink before the girlfriend realised!) Then further stripped the calipers of the bleed nipples and bolt lugs, wire wheeled / flap sanded / scotchbrited to remove loose material and key the surface. Also masked up the piston bores and mating surfaces. Got the 1st couple of coats of paint on this evening. Going to look good I think! It's a metallic black high temp paint. Looks grey at the moment but does end up quite a nice gunmetal with a few coats of lacquer.
  8. It says on that eBay listing that they're made by Depo. If they actually are or not is another matter but Depo gear is normally pretty good!
  9. Seeing cars like this makes me regret selling the stock 17's! Should've just refurb'd them, they look 'gawjus'! They need a seeing to by the offset police but nothing a set of spacers couldn't remedy! Lovely car!!
  10. Damn! Said I'd have this but forgot all about it!! Sorry! I've now embarked on refurb'ing my UK calipers so no monies...again!! I would love one of these though.
  11. Wow, they look great. Unfortunately, I don't think my budget is going to stretch to powder coating at the moment though. I like the idea of the chemi dip though as I had some seized brake pins and there is penetrating oil everywhere. Is it ok to get the chemicals in the piston bores?? Also, if they're blasted, how do you stop it getting inside the calipers? Surely tile blast masking tape away?
  12. I'm confused now, I thought it melted??
  13. How much did it cost for powder coating? Why did you put brembo stickers on may I ask??? Josh, that's answered my question for normal paint on these calipers then! They obviously get hotter than the 4 pot 200sx brakes I did. Looks like high temp paint FTW then. In which case, I'd consider metallic black which is actually more of a dark gunmetal colour then a stain lacquer.
  14. Just about to start refurb'ing my UK spec calipers as they're looking a bit shabby. They're split in half and all pistons removed and got new seals, boots and transfer seals coming from CW. Also got some fresh decals to go on. Looking for suggestions on colour / paint to use!? I'm thinking satin black then decals on and then over the top with a satin lacquer to seal them up? I've painted calipers before using normal satin paint from Halfrauds with good results as the calipers don't get TOO hot to warrant heat resistant paint. Is this the case with UKs??
  15. I agree with Abz. They will be blue and to be fair I'd be surprised if they're OEM as OEM HIDs are usually 4300k. That's what I've got on mine and they're spot on. Far better light output onto the road than 6000k. (I've had both) And only about £50-£60 delivered from Lightec Autostyle.
  16. I might have crack at this if the car is back together in time....bloody well better be!! Would be my 1st Supra meet!! 1. Ricky49 2. Lee P 3. Bullet_uk (provisionally) 4. fonze1035 5. Jimojameso (prov) 6. Jamesy (a definite maybe!) 7. Suprajames 8. Si's Supe (hopefully)
  17. That is bloody B E A utiful!! Needs lowering and nothing else to make it perfect!!
  18. So, last weekend I finally had some time to get the car back in the air and do my suspension and brakes! Bought some Eibach Pros 2nd hand in great nick having covered next to no miles! Also, got some Chris Wilson fast road pads and new Mr T. front discs to go on. As you can see, the finish on the calipers has seen better days so they'll be freshened up too! Everything came apart really easily which I hadn't expected. In fact, the hardest part was trying to remove the washer bottle from behind the splash shield to get the long bolt out of the upper wishbone. Fitted the Eibachs to my Bilstiens and gave them all a good clean up. Gutted to see that I got a bit of underseal on the fronts! Et voila! When I reassembled, I greased the wishbone and lower shock bolts and all fixings were torqued to their correct settings! Something I'm sure many garages wouldn't go to the extent of doing! Unfortunately, that's where progress stopped! The brake pins in both rear calipers...seized SOLID! I assume down to dis-similar metal corrosion! I had to cut the pins to remove the brake pads and over the course of the week have been oiling, heating and working at the pins. Today, patience prevailed the pins are out, bar one half that will be finished off tomorrow! I've just ordered new seal kits front and rear and transfer seals from Chris so I'll be breaking the caliper halves this weekend to get prepping and painting! Hopefully everything will go back together early next week, but until then, she'll have to stay like this!
  19. Provisionally sold pending payment.
  20. I had a Corolla years ago. It was IMMACULATE and the day I picked it up from having a TRD front bumper sprayed and fitted, I drove straight home, went to turn into my driveway (the same turn I'd made everyday for the previous 2.5 yrs) and I hit the gate post with the OSF corner! Absolutely gutted!!
  21. Unfortunately I don't know how they ride. As I said in my 1st post, I bought them as they had Eibach Pros fitted to them which I've put on my Bilstiens. I've not fitted these shocks to my car so have not tested them nor felt the ride they give, but I did do a brief search before I bought them and quite a few Alfa owners seem to use them and are impressed with their ride.
  22. As promised, photos! The rear dust covers have seen better days, but other than that they seem good. And the stock TT springs.
  23. Of course you can. Can either collect from Waterlooville or Hayling Island. I'll do my best to get some photos up tomorrow.
  24. Ive got a set of KYB Gas-a-Just shocks with standard top mounts. Bought these for the Eibach Pros that came with them but fitted them to my Bilstiens. I haven't tested them but they're in good condition with no leaks and covered ~7000 miles. £80 Also my stock TT springs. They're good nick too. £20 Both prices are negotiable (within reason!) and +postage or you can collect from PO7. I've not taken photos yet (they're still say at work) but I will organise them if anyone wants them.
