    Ordered a taxi

Probably won't turn up. Round here you order it and wait for it, looking out of your front window the whole time. Give them an extra 15 minutes on top of the booked time 'just in case' and then ring to find out where they are. Then you get the usual "He turned up but nobody was there" routine, then it miraculously turns up 5 minutes later How they make any money amazes me..
  2. UK has bigger injectors, rear diff cooler, MAF sensor instead of MAP sensor, headlight washers and a bonnet vent cooling the exhaust manifold. It also has heated leather seats, active front spoiler, bigger brakes and 17" wheels and an outside temperature gauge fitted as standard. UK is a lot heavier than a J-spec too
  3. I had an old boss like that, he thought the only excuse for a day off was being at death's door. So he used to come in whilst in the full swings of having flu and spread it throughout the office
  4. Very nice, love the colour. I think Elise's and Exige's pull off lairy bright colours very well
  5. Ah, so it is. Surely they've put in TT power and torque with N/A 0-60 and top speed though??

    heya all..

I'm talking Twin Turbo fuel consumption there by the way, as all UK's are Twin Turbos

    heya all..

Expect high teens for MPG on average although the figure varies wildly from car to car. Personally I get about 12-15mpg average driving on my UK car with an HKS dump valve and about 18mpg without the dump valve. Long journey's will see high 20's. Be prepared for big bills for tyres and if anything goes wrong, parts can be quite expensive. Even things like routine servicing, which I do myself can be quite costly as it uses a lot of oil and deserves a decent brand.
  8. There are much much older cars in there than a mkiv Supra!
  9. Last time I looked, the Supra still wasn't even in Evo's "The Knowledge". I know it's not everybody's cup of tea, but looking at some of the tat in there it's quite a glaring omission!
  10. Drove up Blackman Avenue yesterday, silver import with no spoiler..
  11. That's a fair point, numbers are by far not the be all and end all that people think. I bet the GT2 is easier to drive though
  12. New GT2 in Evo looks very tasty indeed. Suprised they've made something in a 911 that's so close to the Carrera GT though! I look forward to reading the first road test..
  13. Ah, 9th September, should look before asking Should be around for that with a bit of luck, fingers crossed for good weather!!
  14. Cheers everybody! When is the next Brighton meet, not sure if I'll be around or not??
  15. Just thought I'd say a quick hi! I've got a nice RED UK manual, and am down in East Sussex. Have set up my garage with some pics and specs. Look forward to meeting up with some of you guys sometime!
