  1. Just been round and had a look at this, can say that it looks even better in the flesh. Should look lovely once it's all painted Well done Dick!
  2. It is indeed Dick I think I may have changed my plans slightly though, so may not be needing it now..
  3. Oh, it's also got a K&N panel filter, but I don't think that makes much difference to be honest..
  4. Standard SMIC, replaced the original because it was missing the first 1" of fins, got one from eBay for about £40. Original fuel pump etc.
  5. I stuck some Iridium's in at the same time, as it needed new plugs anyway. It has an FCD, but I've never got round to plumbing in the boost controller and making use of it..
  6. Lol.. I've no reason to believe otherwise! Full Toyota service before I had her.. I've certainly not taken them off Still, the thing is so lardy all the little four-pot turbo's were giving me a run for my money on the way home. Most of them weigh about 2/3rds what my car does though, and their turbo's get going much quicker
  7. I really do like that front. There's gonna be lots of places you can't go around the town though! Best not come down my road for a start!!
  8. Went up with a small car club I'm in today and had the car dyno'd, thought it would be nice to get a power figure before I go single and see how she's running. Also saw Ryan G. while I was up there and said hi, seems like a nice guy Anyway, pics and dyno plots. http://www.i-macca.co.uk/temp/dyno290907-1.jpg http://www.i-macca.co.uk/temp/dyno290907-2.jpg http://www.i-macca.co.uk/temp/dyno290907-3.jpg http://www.i-macca.co.uk/temp/dyno290907-4.jpg http://www.i-macca.co.uk/temp/dyno290907-5.jpg To say I was pleased was an understatement, really didn't expect those figures, especially at SRR, and when about 8 of the 10 people there got lower figures than expected. Charlie said the car was running really nice, just rich as you would expect from a Supra. All this on a UK car with just decats and an exhaust @ 1.05bar
  9. Cheers for that Richard, that will also help me out a lot
  10. Goes in a laptop and gives you access to the Internet through a mobile phone SIM card, basically. This one supports all the latest 3G speeds, so you can use it to get nearly broadband speeds from anywhere in the country with a mobile signal.
  11. Sounds ok, do you know who's best for postage to there?
  12. Bloody typical lol It's been sitting here for about 2 months too!
  13. Really? I just checked some of the UK suppliers sites and they were £250 plus postage. Alright then, sensible offers?
  14. I bought a new laptop and had to get an ExpressCard datacard instead, so this is surplus to requirements. In good condition, comes with little metal carry case and I think I've even got a PAYG sim for it if that makes you happy No idea what it's worth, £25 posted anybody?
  15. As title really, I've used this in this car and about three previously to control the boost, it's a great piece of kit and works very well when setup. This is the display/control unit, boost sensor and solenoid with all wiring. Has been in a few cars and well used, so the wiring isn't perfect but is all in good working order. I've got a print-out of the installation and setup manuals, but they're just printed copies from mkiv.com. Can send pics if interested. £175+postage, or collect from East Sussex.
  16. Bought new from mkivstore when I got the car, has covered about 5000 miles. This is the complete kit with the adaptor, pipe, jubilee clips, vacuum hose and blank-off for existing factory BOV pipe. Retails at £250 inc VAT. Will accept £185+postage or collect from East Sussex.
  17. It's a lovely place, I haven't been for a few years though Make sure you go and see this - http://www.vasamuseet.se/InEnglish/about.aspx - it's amazing and very interesting. Much better in the flesh than the photos. Generally the people are very friendly and all too happy to speak English to tourists, they speak very good English too. And the chocolate is great
  18. Fantastic reply Ryan, thanks. That's been most helpful to me and I'm sure it will be to many others as well. I shall PM you later and see if we can work something out
  19. Sounds good Nice suprise when you have the cats out and run a little more boost! Why the new MAF?
  20. I think I remember reading a problem with timing on UK cars then..
  21. I thought the Blue couldn't but the Ultimate can? Or is it just an issue I've read with UK cars? Or just something I've made up
  22. More contact sides than a normal spanner I assume, to help prevent rounding of the nut?
