You shouldn't ever use oil in locks, it gunks them up. You can buy little bottles of graphite powder that you puff in, will sort it a treat

Some places still have them, I managed to find a 275/35R18 at mytyres, it was delivered this morning.

Got them on the back of mine at the moment, excellent in the dry but not a patch on Eagle F1's in the wet. And as they've started to wear down they've become nigh on dangerous in the damp and slippery weather. I'm going back to the F1's..

If you get called to donate, then there's two ways they can take the cells depending on what the donor needs, one is just like taking blood where the basically syphon off the cells they need and give you your own blood back. The other is the more traditional way where they take bone marrow from your hip. It's done under a general anaesthetic though and all you get is some stiffness and bruising for a few days after. I've had it done, it's uncomfortable but considering what it means to somebody it's well worth it. It's really not as bad as it sounds. I've had bone marrow tests done, which they do while you're awake and that hurts like hell!

I was always scared of going to give blood, then with events the last couple of years health wise I've had to have many many units of blood transfused in to me and now realise the true value of it. Without people giving blood I wouldn't be here now. Unfortunately I now can't give blood etc. but would dearly love to to be able to make a difference. And to anybody who goes to give blood, please make sure you're on the bone marrow donor's list, or you can sign up at http://www.anthonynolan.org.uk/. To get on the register is just another small blood test that they can do when you're giving blood. Any questions about it feel free to ask

One for the techie guys.. I've got a Toshiba laptop with Vista that I want to dual boot to XP. It all looks easy enough and I've got XP, the only problem is the instructions I've read say I need the Vista DVD which the laptop didn't come with. It only had one of those crumby restore DVD's with it and I can't find it. These were the instructions I was looking at - http://apcmag.com/5485/dualbooting_vista_and_xp - I didn't know if I could either download the DVD from somewhere or use a different boot loader modifier to change the boot records and recover Vista booting? Any ideas gratefully received Cheers all!

Autobahn88 FMIC kit, bought from ebay. Whole kit brand new with all the fittings as in the pics below. Only selling as I've hit hard times and need to claw back some cash. Fits standard twin turbos and has instructions with it. Would prefer collection as I don't think I've got the big box for it anymore but can possibly sort something if somebody is patient. Right, this is brand new and still sealed in the box. See pic below, in front is my own N73 music edition (it's black instead of silver as normal) to show you what it looks like. Basically, when I started my new contract with Orange in March, they sent me two phones and had no record of it so this has been sitting in my room since then doing nothing. Thanks for the heads up on that Ryan. Don't think I'm gonna be able to go for that for the moment though unfortunately due to some unseen circumstances. In hospital at the moment too, as mentioned, but hopefully out in about 1.5 weeks to catch up with stuff and get back online a bit more.
