dont see about an exchange tell them thats what you want anything thats less than 30 days old and you are entitled to an exchange if the goods are faulty. i work in a tv shop by the way.

dont keep unplugging it from the wall they dont like it,sometimes it buggers up the software.

good 40" plus 499 these dont normally go together,you get what you pay for 40" sony u series are very basic with poor colour reproduction reds in particular look pink. no decent picture enhancements either this set is normally sold through the sheds ( multiples ) and not independants.

take it back if its not right the shop should get it sorted out. its less than 30 days old so it will be exchanged
