If that was so easy in my case.If you are going to hit about 100 meters Oil on a corner,no matter what speed you are doing and the rear wheels go you will lose the car. Oil and ice are a killer stay safe people.

So am i,but then thought about it,if you drive head/sideways on into a lamp post at 26 mph its not exactly going to be a scratch. Plus if i were going at say 35-45 mph and hit the oil i reckon i would be in some way physicaly hurt and the car would be a total mess. Next time you are out in the car have a look at the speedo at 26 mph and imagine smacking into a lamp post.I never thought about it like that before,but when you do you will see any speed will cause alot of damage

Thought about that,but if i break it i will end up having to find another 6spd man TT (Pain in the arse).Which will cost about say 8k for a good one,but probably mostly stock. Then having to start over again buying and aftermarket parts again and then probably a few month down the line having to replace Rad,IC etc... Where as if i spend about 4K ish repairing it i will still have all my parts and have a new front end

Yep,but wont be ready till just before the summer sometime as there is a fair bit of work hours to be done and parts to be replaced.

Well taken out the cooling system etc... Only thing i'm pissed off about is the side member is bent,but can be sorted with a few extra £'s.

Yep nothing is happening with it.(Long story) I'll post up pics of the car in a new thread of the damage now ive taken out the cooling system.

Turns out when we sent off the NCB,Certificate for security and the Direct Debit mandate form they recived it all,but for some reason they say they never recived the mandate form. So sent 5 letters that never turned up (Checked with them for correct address) and because they never recived payment or a reply to the Mystery letters they Canceled my policy.Have they never heard of a phone??? As far as myself and the wife knew everything was fine and dandy.And have never had a reason to require bank statments. I still have the valid Policy Certificate ,but probably no use now Surley they have a duty of care to make sure thier customers know that they have done this to thier policy either by Phone or a signed form?

Not having much luck just now Just phoned my Insurance Company (Direct Line) and they just had the pleasure in telling me that they had Canceled my policy in June. This is the first of me finding out about this.They say they have sent out 5 letters,but I have never recived any. Need to get Bank statments to find out where my cash has been going,then see a solicitor to find out where i stand

Well its happened Darragh mate nothing i can do about it now,apart from look forward. OOOOO and that Red Supra Carbon Bonnet is first on the list. May aswell buy it seen as my supra has had both its front bumpers already Plus it has had quality time at CW Ohhhh I'm i not to say its for sale yet
