  1. I'v always used a leather belt to undo oil filters, works a treat.
  2. Back in stock http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/Speedo_Converters_+_Delim-150.asp
  3. Are these anygood, anyone used one?? http://www.ncs-systems.com/details.php?pID=1213
  4. Heres how far out my speedo is. I have checked it against a sat nav. Sat nav reading 30mph My speedo 40mph Sat nav reading 40mph My speedo 52mph ish Sat nav reading 50mph My speedo 65mph Sat nav reading 60mph My speedo 77mph ish Sat nav reading 70mph My speedo 88mph ish Sat nav reading 80mph My speedo 100mph The wires from the converter are Blue goes to passenger footwell Red screwed to back of speedo Black screwed to back of speedo Yellow to blue plug in back of speedo Orange goes into loom If I replaced to converter would it wire up to same points as the one in now. Or could someone local to me wire it in for me ?? I'm not competant with electrics.
  5. Should be able to feel if a repair or anything has been done. If there is no repair on the back then all they have done is fill the crack with bodyfiller.
  6. As is said above, not a proper job done. If the crack was reinforced at the back with a couple of layers of mat and resin then the crack on the front showing should be dug out and filled with the filler thats got strands of mat in then sanded back and then filled with bodyfiller then you shouldnt have any more probs. I make and repair bodykits for a living. Believe it or not I repaired this bumper for a member on this forum (jim_1979)
  7. I will have a better look tomorow but this is what I can remember. one wire, the one on the far right just under the wiper stalk is screwed to the back of the speedo. one wire goes into the blue plug that clips into the back of the speedo. A couple of wires go elsewhere. one wire (think its black) goes up behind the dash and over towards the glove box then down out of site.
  8. Is the pic attached, my KPH to MPH converter?? Also can anyone recognise the make from the pic?? theres no writing on it. I have my suspisions that its faulty because speedo doesnt read true. Whats the best converter to replace it with?? I'm not bothered about odo converter. Doh yeah best if I add pic.
  9. They are not CRAP mate I assure you. Why OEM??
  10. Did you read the link I posted in your other thread??? It tells you what other Toyota's are the same. Have another read. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-CELICA-MR2-CRYSTAL-CHROME-SIDE-REPEATERS_W0QQitemZ260363418391QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item260363418391&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 Why ask peoples advise then doubt them??
  11. He didnt have any listed when I wanted some so I just emailed him and he made me some. I havnt fitted them yet but I have offered them to the car and are a perfect fit.
  12. This where I got mine from. Email him I think he still does them even though they are not listed. Good fit too. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/car-mad-stylings
  13. My sons got one (2.2), had it for nearly a year now and had no probs with it (touch wood). He likes it, gets the hood down as soon as the suns out. Dont know what he gets mpg, but I dont think he's too bothered. Quite like driving it myself actually

    Toulene?

I know you can get it through Fibreglass suppliers. Its a mould cleaner. Very toxic though so I dont know if they would sell it to public.
  15. I prefer with side lights. Thats how I did mine.
  16. Heres the part No 81515-14390 I paid £35 for the two looms Fitting guide too http://www.jwwebdev.co.uk/Supra/How_to_fit_Facelift_front_indicators.pdf
