  1. Nice to meet you on Thursday at Kerons. Did you get to the bottom of the rattle on your turbo? Took me 4 hours to get home, feckin M6. Nightmare. Good tip about the ballasts, mine are going in this week, so will silicone prior to mounting:thumbs:
  2. Megulars 1,2,3. Type in Monza Car Care on flea-bay. Use microfibre cloths and applicators. The lot will set you back less than £40:)
  3. also i noticed youmentioned getting a £10k loan for the car?! thats a lo of money to borrow just to impress your old classmates. how about scrapping the loan and finding yourself a higher self esteam??? It seems to me you are prepared to go in to debt to the tune of £10k to, putting it succinctly, impress your "mates" for one night? I know you would use and enjoy the car for the time you own it, but reading between the lines, this seems your primary motivation? As another poster said, get a taxi and have a laugh with your "mates". I know mates of mine wouldn't give a fook what I drive, and vice versa. If this reunion turns in to a show of a "look at my was/loadsamoney" farce, I'd rather give it a miss and go and polish a turd..................
  4. Notwithstanding what I have posted as a thread starter, I did phone him a few times to no avail:search:
  5. No mate, due to his suspension the thread is locked, so posts are not possible, and, I suppose, Jon is unable to amend details because of this?
  6. I am posting this on here as Jons "Custom Lights" thread is suspended! I received my lights today. They look fantastic. This forum has a need for your services, as there must be hundreds of yellowed j-spec lights out there. Do ypurself and others a favour, get in touch with Class One and get your status removed from suspension. We all acknowledge that you must be having problems, but all it required was a post or PM to explain, we would have been a lot more sympathetic if we knew where we stood. So, to those that know Jon, please point him towards this post, and ask him to get his finger out of wherever it is, and get back on line A few apologies to the relevant people and continue from where you where last year. To reiterate, you offer an excellent product at a fair price, please keep us all informed. Thanks again. Lights are
  7. guess thats not the same for the spark plug leads or is it YES Have you done this yet? How much?
  8. Reliably caustic as usual....................
  9. Do the cheapest/easiest thing 1st. Get a new lead as RAC nan said, best to get Toyota one from nearest dealer, as this problem needs rectification asap, should only be a few quid. Then, if you still have the problem, get new HT leads. If you still have the same problem (which I doubt), post again. A HT lead with tape on is suspect. It aint there for nothing.
  10. Matt, been following your threads with this car from Day 1, hope all goes well, you deserve a break, mate.
  11. , i think its cause they are easy to nick and everyone wants them apart from people who know proper cars:rolleyes:
  12. 1. Trading Standards. 2. Sue the t'.,ts. That is truly shocking.
  13. The price of oil is not in Governmental control............................................calling Sheik Ali Baba, will this protest grab your attention.. On a taxation note, we are not taxed on fuel THAT much more than the rest of the EU. If Mr brown/ Darling reduce fuel taxation they would just have to get it elsewhere, ie. Road Tax, Income Tax, cigs, tobacco, etc. Or, just shut a few hospital wings.....education.....schools. This is one of the few taxes we are in control of, ie. use your car less. Nobody likes the price of fuel at the mo, £1 a litre now seems a bargain! However, there are several threads regarding the crisis (price), and the conclusion is that it is "other" external forces.
  14. I've got a set..................
  15. 22mm, thats the norm, yes. Would like (besides pipe), 22>15 tees, 22>15 straights, inserts, etc etc. Best if you ring me 07877 064386, Paul.
  16. Exactly my point. Was well organised in previous years at Liverpool. The new venue is,at best, a PITA to get to.
  17. I'm 48 and have already been about 5 times with my daughter and friends,, Go for it, trust me, you will love it, although last year didn't seem to have the same atmosphere as previous as they have moved it from the old Liverpool airport to t'other side of Runcorn. Take plenty of wedge, you'll need it. I am off to Egypt 4th September, so will be giving it a miss this year. Have fun, and don't have a hang-up about your age.....................no one will notice:)
  18. James, would be interested in 25m of hep pipe and a load of fittings for my central heating. +scratches head wondering how you would get it through a letterbox +
  19. They only come with a blue spigot ring, I got mine also in December. For anyone umming and arring, these wheels look the dogs on a Supra
  20. 2nd dibbs on front and back seats, ........................................price dependant...............
