  1. Sounds like the diverter valve has gone, depending on the manufacter, will be between £80 to £220, and about 1hour to replace.
  2. Thanks, Hoff, would you be interesred in selling your rear set when off?
  3. Ok, sounds good, by a set do you mean 4? Are TT springs too harsh on NA (rear)
  4. In the UK/Japan, the "Supra" logo is on the same side as the driver, looking from the back. Would guess it would be the same on left-hand drive (Danish) models. Somehow, don't think it would look "right" being on the left.
  5. Having gone to all the trouble of changing my rear shocks, it has transpired that it is the Springs which are at fault Normally, I would just buy new, but a distinct lack of work since November means I have to look here. Anyone got any spare at a reasonable price? Would TT Springs give me a harsher ride? Any help welcome;)
  6. Ok, can someone suggest a date/time place, then we take it from there? (a) New Brighton Prom- a Sunday pm (b)Crosby Marina ©Albert Dock

  8. Excuse the naivety, but is that a good deal when MLRs are at 1% (?)
  9. Assuming I get my new shocks done count me in, would be nice to see you all (again)
  10. Export what? We are a "Service " industry country type thingy, tell me what we export, except for talent?
  11. EXACTLY...depends how long they have lived there bears a direct correlation to how much leeway (?) they have with regards to the price. I bought my house (Victorian semi) in 1988 for £16k, so if I was selling for market value, £229k'ish, and you offered me £200k I would consider. You need to find someome who is desperate to sell, take minimum profit, then make your bid
  12. f@:k me, thats scary. That video clip on that site was eye-opening. Will be checking 2 mo:thumbs:
  13. Burberry went rapidly downhill when Daniella Westbrook and her kids were papped a few years ago. Gruesome......then the brand became "chavvy"
  14. And therein lies the problem, no male in his right mind would buy that, therefore restricting his potential market to women:p (IMO)
  15. To add to the above ramblings by me,- if I was paying rent of, say £100 a week to a privare landlord, that would have been paid for me from day 1! wtf?
  16. Hey guys, I have been self-employed for 12 years within the Construction/ Refurbishment industry. I have had NO work since the middle of November. I knew the score when I signed on, as I worked there 25 yrs ago, so was therefore upfront with them. My mortgage equares to £30 per week, but the Govt will give me naff-all for 13 weeks toward it! Obviously I have savings etc., but what if I hadn't? What if I had an average mortgage? As per Scotsters original post, this is the system at work, thats all. Incidentally, after 13 weeks they will only pay HALF of the interest, up to 26 weeks, after which they will pay interest only, the logic being that you should have Mortgage Protection to tide you over. This was not even mentioned to me in 1990, so was not taken. Since signing on at the end of November, I have noticed a DRAMATIC increase in the number of people there, the woman who signed me on on Monday said they are now unable to cope with the influx of new claims........ Doesn't look good, but I hope to start a new job within 2 weeks. Incidentally, they give me £60 per week to live on, and I have worked continuously since 1978! AND paid a lot of tax/NI etc.
  17.
