  1. Steven, the shocks need top be changed IN PAIRS, not a full set. A new set from Toyota will be rather expensive, your best bey would be to pay your membership, then post a "Wanted" ad in the classified section. There are guides on here for changing the shocks. The rears are a doddle. Welcome.
  2. Like all ebay tat, it will cost a fortune to get that fitted to the back............
  3. Done a search and they have only appeared on a "what tyre do you recommend" thread with a nil result-ie. no recorded feeback-ie. no one has bought them. Assumptions cannot therefore be made, but heres the maths. Avons are £140 more, thats £35 a corner. Ball-park subtraction means that Primewells retail around £60 a corner. I wouldn't put a £60 tyre on a powerful RWD car, and I'm guessing 99% of members on here would feel the same way. Primewell.............. Well past their prime!
  4. Gary ffs pay the extra £140 for the Avon ZZ3's as the "performance" tyres supplied at the buy it now price WILL be ditchfinding gash They will be the cheapest crap available (Wanli/Fullrun,etc), their levels of grip will be borderline when dry, and non-existant in the wet/damp. Trust me. E-mail the seller asking for the name of the "performance" tyre, and do a search on here. Remember- tyres are the only thing between you and 1500kgs versus the road The wheels look very nice BTW
  5. Geo goes much further than tracking, adjusting where necessary any castor/camber movements over the years. If you've got crap tyres change them-then get a full geo done. From past posts it apparently transforms the driving experience. I plan to get it done when I have changed my suspension
  6. Coilovers will give you a harsh ride generally, you have the accepted best suspension set up. Crap tyres may be your problem. What make are they? A geo set up will improve a lot of issues also.
  7. You say your tyres are good, but are they a decent brand? My car feels totally different with 4 brand new tyre on.
  8. The missing bulbs are T5 and T10. I have the (older) dials you are replacing, and I need to replace my removed originals as the needles are not illuminated at night.
  9. You want cheaper than that! Thanks for the info- going to order some rears. Have you tried KYB site?
  10. You will have more money in your pocket and a nice warm feeling inside by doing it yourself http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/Products/Flexible-Carbon-Fibre-Sheet__CMFLEXCFS.aspx Do a search for "flock" also, bet you prefer that.
  11. To be fair, it is a sensible thing to do........ 2/3
  12. If the lamps are refitted correctly, they should not require re-alignment. That is done on the back of the lamps themselves. HOWEVER-sometimes after fitting HID's, the beam can be off due to the different characteristics of the beam spread, in which case adjustment may be necessary. Mine were OK. You were 1/3 rd correct :)
  13. Wait till you try them out tonight! Far and away the best mod to a Supra, and simple to boot. You won't believe the difference, and wonder how you managed without them.
  14. Fitted pic here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=118400 12 th post by Nic, 4th pic down
  15. Sounds like its an electrical rather than mechanical gauge. Best to pop it out and check all the connections are ok at the back. There isn't much to them, so maybe its faulty? It could also be a faulty pressure sensor in the sandwich plate. Any photos?
  16. Wasn,t "The Aristocrats"?- Please say yes..............
  17. Think he (rob boi) is referring to the actual scoop, not the full UK bonnet
  18. From clouded memory around £24. There is a guide on here with a full pictorial explanation. If you're buying e-bay HIDs, make sure they are CANBUS compatible, and don't go for the cheapest Found it http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=31633
  19. Got them fronts on mine, look good, but I suggest you use the addittional fixing with it for sturdiness. It has 3, as opposed to a pre-facelifts 2, studs. You will also need the looms to go with them. Got mine from Steve Manley
  20. Hollie Johnson (Frankie Goes to Hollywood) was a mate at senior school, but when we left school following our 'O'levels, went right off him when he dyed his hair white, and had a VERY weird mate called Pete Burns............. Good friend of mine was an Engineer with OMD- he then circa 1991 actually played with them. A gig at Maine Road springs to mind, which was being broadcast live on Radio One. He knocked a drink on his keyboard and blew the stage...... Through this guy I also met Kym Marsh as a wannabe 15yr old, and had an incredulous phone conversation with Diana Ross! He worked on one of her albums a while back. I didn't believe him, so he rang her up and put me on the phone. Another mate used to be in China Crisis, and a few weeks back I had a 30 second conversation with Gordon Strachan just before the Egypt game. The best one though has to be bumping in to Jack Nicholson in Mexico 5 years ago, asking for his autograph for my mum, and he then proceeded to ask me all about England. Was a really nice guy and bought me a Marguerita. Think thats it for now....
  21. Think you've got more chance of getting a good one, then cracking/breaking it yourself?
  22. Thanks Adam, just let me know when they are available and we can take it from there
