  1. Sorry to be a pain Wez, but the A-pillar with "pod cut-out", I would like to see a pic, and could you measure the size of said cut-out. If its the right size or smaller, I'll take it. Thank you.
  2. Seems I do need one with the mirror cut-out already done as it is rounded/moulded, and cutting it retro makes it look crap. Thanks Steve and Supraloopy, so has anybody got one, surface condition irrelevant?
  3. If you are buying the shower yourself make sure its not too powerful for your existing cabling. If you've only got 6mm cable you are limited to 8.5kW, if you've got 10mm cable, anything goes. Whatever has happened looks like a chain of errors/cirrcumstances, as already mentioned, a fuse should have blown before a fire got hold.
  4. Been a fan of Viz since its inception. One "tip" that sticks in my mind, having read it with my mates whilst pissed.... Dont throw away used sardine can lids, they make ideal quiffs for small robots. Brilliant.
  5. Stonkin/Pete Richards/fanatics...... http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/Silverline_Rotary_Machine_Polisher_1.html is this any good for the novice and/or occasional user? If not, why? I have also read that it is ok to wash your car prior to claying/waxing/polishing with washing-up liquid to remove old polishes? Thanks in anticipation
  6. In that case, leave it to the pro's
  7. Agreed, myself included since March Use the waiting time to do other things, for example upgrading your stopping power, preferably UK calipers, at least new discs/pads and braided lines with a fluid change. Whilst you're at it, consider new shocks and/or springs, ensure all suspension bushes are in good nick and the car generally is "up to" the conversion. IMO its madness to do a TT conversion without the aforementioned upgrades/checks
  8. If they are 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rear then they are a steal. If, however, they are merely 2/1 pot, then they may be worth that to someone needing a full j-spec set up. What condition are they in, pics, age, etc.............
  9. Heres an example of one of theirs, browse their shop...... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-TRD-STYLE-FRONT-LIP-SPOILER-SPLITTER-kit-/350271968763?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item518dd615fb
  10. Try Carmadstylings on e-bay- pretty sure they do that one, or very similar.
  11. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170400631859&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT They also do other styles, though this IMO looks best.
  12. Them e-bay packages- the tyres are usually "budget performance", ie. SHITE. If there is an option for an upgrade, please pay for it, as that may get you Avons or the like. The budget tyres will be ditch-finders, find out the make and do a search on here, or post the brand. Cheap tyres and RWD don't go hand in hand.
  13. https://sslrelay.com/buypartsby.co.uk/gas-shocks.php?recordID=246 or https://sslrelay.com/buypartsby.co.uk/gas-shocks.php?recordID=247 HTH:)
  14. Thank you very much for doing that Steve, I'll wait till after the weekend and see if one comes up with the electric mirror switch cut-out, if not I'll take that and "dremel" it myself.
  15. As above, only require the small panel to the right where the key goes, but I have folding mirrors if thats relevant. Thanks
  16. Electric ariel wanted (stock) or will consider a stubby if anyone has a spare. Thank you.
  17. Guys, this is one of the best mods you can do to your car. Once fitted you will wonder how you managed to drive at night without them. Go for 6000k though-this being the concensus of opinion without being chavvy.
  18. If they were designed like a halogen tube or such like they would'nt be TOO bad, but the trend is for a row of fairy lights. YEUK. I'm guessing owners are now seeing them as a massive faux-pas.
  19. Correct, however I think the OP is not referring to the safety element of their fitment- no brainer- but to the apparent chaviness of a string of LED's on a new, well engineered vehicle. \i think they look shite and completely spoil most cars:d
