  2. When it states, "custom widened arches", what was actually involved in the process? Where the stock quaters chopped, or were fibreglass ones fitted over the top?
  3. Can I race myself, I really hate losing
  4. Next v8 project? Must be tempting Its a good price - just needs a lot of commitment from someone. Hope it goes to a good home
  5. Very interested in one of these!
  6. My brother has recently put every penny he had into buying a Nissan Elgrand to cart his 5 kids about in. Really nice car, in really good condition (and he has had to drive some howlers over the years), and he's only had it 6 weeks. Last night someone stuck a brick through his passenger side front window and nicked his satnav. He couldnt give a monkey's about the satnav, its more about the heart break the inconvenience of trying to find a replacement window. I've had a look on t'internet but havent had any joy, I think all these are grey imports and its proving difficult to find anyone breaking them. He was planning to go on holiday in 3 weeks time and he'd rather not have his door wrapped in cling film the whole time. Can anyone recommend somewhere to try? Thanks
  7. I'm after a set of weather strips (the roof mouldings that the wind deflectors get fitted to), mine are in a crappy state after removing a set of said wind deflectors - god knows what glue they used Must be in good condition Cheers
  8. As stated, some interior/engine bay pics would help you out no end Decent price though
  9. Thanks for the info chaps Already spoken to Toyota, i've ordered 2 x cam sensor connectors - £16 inc VAT (cheaper than the £200+ I was looking at) Going to hopefully give it a whirl at the weekend
  10. http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=319&SearchYN=N Works out at about £750 (pre-facelift 6-speed)..... not cheap, but considering the dash harness is around the £500 mark its not too bad Dont know how that compares with Toyota UK prices
  11. How much you got to spend? I'd buy this if was in the position to buy again, really clean motor http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?250759-1994-JDM-rare-bronze-supra-manual-RZ-6-speed-£9.995
  12. They been flow tested or anything?
  13. After a couple of intermittent coughs and splutters, I had a gander at the fault codes and it seems my car has a cam sensor related problem. I managed to squeeze in to check the resistance on the "middle" sensor and that fell within the scale, but the one at the back is a complete PITA to get to so I didnt bother. Decided that I'm just going to go ahead and just replace them anyway, has anyone done this before? Can anyone offer any advice? Is it worthwhile removing the inlet manifold for access as i'm also going to fit new connectors as they're like to fall into a million pieces Thanks all If anyone is interested, they're £95 each from Toyota
  14. EEEKK... Thats just for the harness thats behind the dash!? Might give Keron a tinkle then, just wanted to renew the whole lot because it is seriously in a complete state, it all works but just a mess...... not £500's worth of a mess though Nic, I did look at replacing the engine harness too. Saw them on MVP for a reasonable(ish) price; I think its worth doing if you can afford to, these 18 year old looms are a complete pain in the balls if you ever need to disconnect anything - 75% of the time, whatever I disconnect falls apart in my hands. Thanks for the replies
  15. Has anyone ever bought an interior (behind dash) harness? The wiring behind my dash has taken a pummelling over the years with crappy neon speedo dials, and cheapo convertors being fitted by cheapo "technicians". Just wanted to finally get it all cleaned up Anyone have any ideas on part numbers/prices or if they're even available?
  16. I'm feelin the love for mine lately too. Dont think i'd be happy with another car - I did want to get shot of mine earlier this year and replace it with a Bullnosed Monaro (more practical and noisier!), glad I didnt go through with it though Your car is a looker, you made a good move
  17. Whiftbitz stock polished odds and ends, They're priced up on the website and they need your old bits in exchange. Quite reasonably priced
  18. Have you checked for any fault codes?
