  2. i thought that untill i realised that even a close to home retrim will involve petrol, and the risk and trying transport large seats in a small car and risk of damage, least he picks up from your door and drops off to your door

  4. right this may sound strange, but cant u take it to a pvc window shop and have them plastic welded? then have them filled?

  7. its asking me on that site what size "Hubcentric Spacer" i need? whats that mean :S, anybody know what size? or is it different on all wheels?
  8. can anybody say this for sure? , looking at the wheels and a rough gauge, i think i require 10mm spacers, but i will do the washer trick 1st, if 10mm is the case are we saying i dont need longer wheel pins

  10. yeah, i already had the wheels on the car, it was a risk worth takin buying the brakes without defo knowing they will fit, but a risk i think worth takeing, just need some spacers and all will be good , any uk companys sell them?
  11. i think u mis-understood, i have a j spec TT with 18" wheels on, i have uk spec brakes to install, tried put them on and they catch my wheels, this is why i need spacers?
  12. just done a quick caliper swop from j spec to uk spec on the front and the wheels catch, anybody know what spacers i need and where to get them from?
  13. ive got a 2 year old, not a huge problem now, abit tight, but when i get me leather recaros back off jurgen i think ill be chopping her feet off so she dont kick the backs. is that legal? she is my kid right?
  14. i sold my car last week, guy comes up, coulndt find any problem, so then starts moaning about why had i sprayed fre-breeze on my boot carpet :S, he wanted to knock £200 off to put his mind at rest that i wasnt hinding anything!!, of course i said balls

  18. main reason i buy them is because there quite relaible and cheap to repair, and u can even stand in the engine bay! thats got be worth £500 alone aint it and yeah there very cleaver! just trying teach her how hoover and was the dished now
  19. its my 4 punto , u cant get many lush itailian beast for £500, yeah a woodsaw is a very dangerous tool, even more dangerous in the wrong hands! u hide it, they find it ! nothin is safe with toddlers
  20. brought a little punto for a run about, decided clean it today and while i was in the car me and the missus heard a bang!, we jumped out teh car and standing at the front of the car was my 2 year old daughter holding a wood saw whist twatting the front wing!
  21. ok cheers for that. i did sell a astra abit ago, i thought poeple would bid at the end but nobody did and it sold to a guy who bidded about 2 days b4 it ended
  22. right ive got my car on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140208185201 now i have a reserve for 3k, earlier today it was bidding at 2k, ive had a guy phone me up and offer me £3200, which i have said ok with, but now the bidding is riseing fast, with 40 watches, am i silly to sell it to this guy or would u let the bidding finish and risk loseing out or even getting a non paying bidder ....its proper stressing me out!!
  23. well i recived my subframes today off paul (thanks ) and the bolted straigh on and there in! , just need a retrim now which is proveing nearly impostible to get sombody local!
