  1. BSE, not that you might be mad!
  2. sounds like hes not a uk passport holder
  3. well, sorry to all with an increase , my new quote has just arrived and its down . last year (first with sky) £275 ish, this year £245.23. thats me and the old gal, full ncd protected 9 years without a claim but one of us got 3 pnts last year :p
  4. i find, if you stand by the n/s/f wing facing to the back of the car. with your left arm down through the gap behind the n/s turret you can unscrew it and then with the n/s/f wheel off pass it out through the steering rack appeture. an extra break in your arm just above the wrist helps. thats on of the reasons i bought a ramp.
  5. well, must say that i did 500 miles on sunday 8/5/8. roads busy, not a supra anywhere. a75/m6/a66/a1 then around leeds and then home again. 12 camra vans, and average speed gantries. "is there anybody out there".
  6. old, well not in mind. and for you young pups, my fully comp and the old gal £240.:p:p:p:p
  7. mine comes off the road at the end of oct, usually cover it with an old duvet, disconnect the battery and run it up to temp at about 6/8 weeks. if the floor of your garage gets damp park it on cardboard and if possible on a good dry winters day get some air through the garage (my garage is 80 x 60 so no problem). then its a pisser, 24 wks till 1st of MAY. keep it sorn'd and insured.
  8. yeh sorry mate been up too my ears last few days, will get it sorted for you hope tomorrow (sun). as i say you will wonder why you did'nt get one earlier.
  9. well finally finished the install, and its better than i thought, should have done it years ago (i may have had less pain, crap in the eyes and out bursts of anger).
  10. now if he was a brazilian, then the top brass would lie for you.
  11. well guys after years of laying down in the pissing rain, fitting exhausts/pads and shoes/clutches etc ive got old cold and tired. so (and i know many of you would not have space for this) i bought a two post ramp. i can hear the geers from here . well price wise its £1300 all in including del from cardiff to scotland and that was 2 days. im not on here looking for work (if your in the area its a waste if its not being used) but i did think for you guys in similar areas if there was a place for mounting one it would be a worth-while idea. i know equipment sharing is not always the best thing but a collective work shop would cut down labour cost and would encourage the less mechanicly minded to try some basic work. [email protected] if you fancey a look.
  12. yes, as i said i would go with sky but the the follow up of paper work is crazy. sign this declare that, why when all the details (like other companies) is firstly taken via email then more over the phone do i now have to work through half a tree to confirm what has already been done twice ? i feel a lack of trust some where (is it a broker / ins company problem)
  13. hi and welcome mate. go to http://www.300zx.com and my eldest boys g60 is on there (funny we called him dan !)
  14. this thread is worring me as i am about to dump my long term no problem old company and support the clubs recomended insurers. and unlike other occasions SKY have as yet not responded, i've 2 weeks to decide and tell them to shove it where the sun dont shine. i'll watch this space.
