well on paper they appear to have an advantage and no disadvantages or risks, so has any body got one of these fitted and do they work ?

yeah thanks but the nearest tesco fuel is 60 + miles and i usually when i'm heading south judge it so i can fill there and refill on the return. could do with some support or advice on the use of one of these, the idea and theory sounds ok but !

v powers good but the nearest is 80 miles to the east and 40 ish north, they come for differing engine sizes but theres a lot of contradiction in peoples opinions. local fuel suppliers have not got a good reliable reputation except morrison but they dot have a premium pump.

as in the title, i have aquired a formula power amalgam filled inline octane booster, wich reports to enhance / boost fuel quality. ie 95 upto 100 octane. do these things work and are they safe to use.

just goes to prove how select they are. -
well that takes me back, i worked on these as a fresh qualified mechanic. mostly armed police versions as well as others. made you uneasy with a 18 stone sergant over your shoulder. but road tests even without the blues on s**t they were quick. "o" how youth fades so quickly, when i were a lad etc.........................

yeh mines got the same problem and will need sorting, a job for this winter. and a new seal will be needed.

if in any doubt it should be changed, i do mine early on all my motors. its so easy on a straight six. i prefer gates belts.
