hi mate and welcome, its only 20 ish miles but the road is flooded again !
  2. , nice car and i see you have thows black insert panels in the rear bumper. looks good...
  3. well in the previos poll i would in the 10.14 % bracket, but the highest quote for fc + nc protected is £321. including the old gal:cool:
  4. and i've got a spare roasting tray.
  5. welcome mate. you could have a look on piston heads there are quite a few on there, as far as the turbos the transition is smooth just a bigger kick in the back when 2nd comes in.
  6. :drag:well done mate for getting it sorted out, u'll sleep better tonight. A & E wasn't that bad you big wus.
  7. if your mate polished his car properly it would have slipped off and you would be non the wiser about it, was it a North Sheilds bug
  8. hi mate, the tissue on yor eye surface heals real quick, even to the point of covering (skinning over) an object that went in just a few hours before. go to A & E they will put a dye in it that highlites damage. go at worst you feel a bit of a prat. i've left it too late in the past and what happens then you don't need to know at this point.
  9. a 2nd coat of wax would have been one too many.
  10. welcome mrgmain, you have had a rotten time but "always look on thr bright side of life" i would reverse the old lend lease now we've finished paying you guys back but my steering wheel is on the wrong side
  11. its not ilegal to run without a spare nor is it an mot requirement. but , and this is a hole in the law. tyres should be matched across the same axle ! also the rover 25 came with a tin of holts tyre weld in the boot ( that is being a real mean s**t is'nt it).

    insurance fun

i put a thread on the other day about AA insurance quotes from zenith and norwich union £321 and 289 respectively, now after a bit of a jolt sky came back just now with £274 (fully comp protected me with 3 pnt and the old lady) don't now wether its a age thing or are insurance companies not extracting the p**s as much..:)
  14. well guys, zenith through the aa (with 3 pnts) 321.51 / alternative agian through aa with norwich union 321.51 (and they siad they would match a cheaper quote by 10%, so i said go for it and they came back at 289.12) i'm also waiting for the nfu and sky so i'll post if they come up with anything. most of these companies a year or two ago would not touch import how things change when they smell cash, its always worth being hard with them when your on the phone. just a couple of piont, full ncd for yrs, protected, and with the old gal on the policy as well but do remember we are nearer our bus passes than most of u (oh crap).............
  15. has any body emailed mr scott yet ?

hi, jazz1. i use waxoyl on all my motors, supra/shogun/tractors etc + both boys motors - 460bh 300zx,turbo polo and super charged g60 corrado. you usually have too retreat about every two years though, but i have a farm and theres loads of s**t about get some on the exhaust it smells good. a ramp and compresor help. it gets every where, hair eyes up your snout you will need a good long shower.
