  7. HI Have a mkiv TT 6 speed. After replacing my stock clutch with an ACT unsprung 6puck, ACT pressure plate and new OEM flywheel, it has started to vibrate when realising it in first and reverse. Also when I shift down you can feel it and see the shifter vibrates. But only when I release the clutch slow.... A so called espert told me that supras have sprung disk and that a unsprung disk will cause this. Or is it the engine mounts that needs to be replaced? Anyone have esperience with this? or same symptons?
  8. http://supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=358685 something like that??
  9. check the wiring\connector behind the off button. You should be able to turn it completly off with that. mine does, it says "off" on the top left panel in the dash:)
  10. BTW, is the airbox you`re putting in from a vvti car?
  11. The air flow meter is mounted just after the filter....
  12. as stated, any one got the partnumbers for engine mount and gearbox mounts? the rubber thing:) It`s for a 98 vvti RZ manual....
  13. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/clutch/index.html maybe this will help?
  14. I use a ACT unsprung disk on a stock flywheel, works fine:)
  15. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/bcc/why_bcc/tps.jpg wire nr 2 of the three that comes out of the turbo pressure sensor
  16. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/clutch/index.html all tourqe settings are here:) Flywheel to Crank: Tighten to 36 ftlb in a crossover pattern, then tighten each bolt another 90 degrees again in pattern. If you are doing this with an aluminum flywheel, make three passes at 36 ftlb before the 90 degree tighten, the aluminum will compress a little (AMHIK). Pressure plate to flywheel: 14 ftlb (I recommend 20ft-lbs or more). (I normally use a 12mm little wrench and tighten as tight as I can. If these back out, your clutch will be toast within a few miles) Transmission to engine: 17mm head bolts, 53 ftlb; 14 mm head bolt, 29 ftlb. Starter terminal is 48 inlb (Notice the units!) Starter bolts: 29 ftlbs Release Cylinder: 9 ftlbs Clutch housing covers: 9 ftlbs Center support bearing mounts: 36 ftlb Intermediate shaft to transmission bolts: 41 ftlb Rear transmission mount inside bolts: 10 ftlb Rear transmission mount outside bolts: 19 ftlb Shifter pivot bolt: 14 ftlb Shifter plate bolts: 69 inlb Crossmember bolts: 9 ftlb
  17. thanks, I`ll get one from toyota then:)

  21. there are two 14 mm bolts at the bottom of your tranny housing flange, you can see one of them on your picture. or you can just mount it wherever there is ground\earth....
  22. ground\earth wire from fuel filter, goes from filter to one of the tranny housing bolts
