  1. Few interior and engine pics added and changed the price.
  2. Yeh i have been told that by a few people. I'm going to see what some of the garages say first if they offer me more then the price will go up. Kind of seeing if there's much interest first.
  3. The time has sadly come to part with the Supra. It’s a 1993 Black Manual N/A with 115,000k on the clock (71,500miles) I have kept it completely standard apart from the wheels and a grill in the bumper and a private plate but other than that it hasn’t been messed around with. It past its last MOT with no advisories. It is MOT’d until the beginning of June 2011 and taxed till the end of May 2011. The wheels are 18inch Ultra light GT2 staggered fit costing around £1200 when new with tyre‘s. Fronts measure 235/40/18 and rears 265/35/18 wrapped in falken rubber. I’ve had them on the car about a year and a half and the tyres have plenty of life left in them. There is a small amount of curb damage to the passenger rear rim of about 10cm in length (nearly cried when it happened, stupid narrow multi-storey car park) I will try to get some more pics up soon but my camera’s a bit fudged at the moment. Interior is in good condition, nothing major, carpet just a lil worn on the drivers side by the accelerator pedal but with mats down u cant really see it. It has cloth front seats and I think its leather rears or fake leather, don’t really know. There is a small cigarette burn/hole in the drivers seat the size of a cigarette end. It was there when i got the car and i've never had anyone smoke in it. There are 2 small strips of rust around the boot window which were there when I got the car and I’ve done my best to try to minimise it. One measures about 10cm in length from a width of 5mm down to 1mm on the left side of the boot lid and the other about 3cm in length and 5mm width on the right side. Having looked on the site it does seem that a few people have this issue but I saw a complete boot lid in black on the site yesterday for £45 so if you’re a perfectionist it probably won't cost a lot to put right. I’ve owned the car for coming up to 4 years now, it has a partial service history and would be due one in the not to distant future. It was first registered in 1999. Mechanically it starts every time perfectly fine and I have recently replaced the battery due to the old one being a bit temperamental. You do sometimes get a squeak from the clutch pedal now and again when you press it down. I spoke to a few people about it and they say its nothing serious just needs a little oiling up. You do also sometimes get a rattling sound from the exhaust at low rev's, again been told that it sounds like the heat shield could be loose. I have recently had a brand new passenger rear calliper fitted as the old one had seized a tad so the car does currently have 3 red callipers and a black one. I could probably get it sorted when I get some free time or can give anyone that buys the car the paint to match. The car has had a little work done to the paint on the passenger rear quarter because some one scuffed it. No body damage just a scuff mark but all put right, the pics were taken after it was sorted. I have a pic of the scuff if anyone wants to see it. My main reason for selling the car is that I am a keen surfer and am out surfing for most of my free time, but I have recently split with my partner and it was her car we used to take the boards and kit everywhere, and the supra just cant accommodate my boards as they wont fit in it or on it. So my favourite ever car has to make way for the thing I love doing the most. I’ve thought about getting a second car but I really cant afford to run two. So sadly his is my only option. I am looking for £3495 ono for it. Cheers Carlos. I live just outside Plymouth in Cornwall.
  4. He ordered it from tesco direct and it came today just seen the pic she sent but she says he can't have it till his bday which is the 10th lol.
  5. My mate at work just got a txt from his girlfriend of a picture of modern warfare 2. It got delivered to his house early. Jammy sod gets to play it tonight.
  6. Oh crap yeh math fail lol 0.86 then oopps
  7. Was on my way home from work tonight and the route I take to work has just had 2 more speed camera's put up taking the number on my 7 mile commute to 6. Working out about 0.86 cameras per mile not to mention the 2 spots where the vans hide to catch you out. Just got me thinking if others have this many to contend with or maybe more and if anyone can hold the record for having the most per mile on there daily commute.
  8. In the winter normally 45 mins to and from work which is 7 miles away but if its the summer holidays could be anything, most i think its taken is about 2 hours to get, yes 7 miles. Did I mention I have to catch a ferry everytime I want to go to work.
  9. My disks are fine at the mo thank god, i caught it quite soon. Went for a surf down newquay (hour away) got home walked past the wheel with my shorts on and just felt the heat went and had a look and they where roasting. Never had any issues with brakes on any of the cars i've had so i'm not the most confident when it comes to fixing them but guess i've got to learn sometimes.
  10. so as long as it's a jspec it should be fine then? not to complicated for a novice to fit either?
  11. just a quicky i've had an issue with my rear passenger caliper it's seized up, took it to the garage and they couldn't give me a price because they said there is more than one type for it, its a 93 jspec N/a but some one on here has one for sale just need to know if there are different types or will any do, had a search but couldn't find anything. i only thought there was a difference between j spec and uk but i dont know a great deal tbh. cheers
  12. I was gona go over the ferry as it adds 18 miles on to my journey going round the bridge and I have no money and fuel lol.
  13. same here just got back, I thought it was ace but the girlfriend liked the first one more so mixed reveiw here but a lot of decent fight scenes a must see for the action fan!
  14. Ok see you there bright and early
  15. Tryed but when I type my details it realise's I already have a policy and won't let me go any further.
  16. Just had my insurance renewel and it has gone up by £100 from 750 to 850 bit anoyed so I gave them a ring (bell.com) and it's because a month and a half ago a guy scuffed my paint and it all went through the insurance. He accepted the blame and that was that, so why has it put mine up? anyone else had this happen to them? I'm 23its a N/A I have 6 years no claims and 850 seems an awful lot. Oh and I did a dummy quote with bell a few months back and it said about £600 so saved up a bit more just in case and its a lot more than I was expecting.
  17. Dam it! Wish I could have got the day off looked like you all had a good time, kept looking out of work yesterday at the nice weather thinkin how nice a day you got oh well have to wait for the shows to come around.
  18. Just watched this with the girlfriend and I quite enjoyed it more of a plot but not as many cars as the others but over all good film.
  19. Was browsing the net and my screen went funny then everthing went blurry so turned it off started it back up seemed ok. I started running my virus scan and few minutes my screen went all screwed, I disconnected the net, it then went black but not off, then a blue screen appeared said something about drivers, memory dump and counted down something. Then just stayed black and now everytime I turn it on it's just blank. Is it screwed? Sorry if any mistakes in post I'm on me iPhone. Any help would be great cheers.
  20. You also have good taste i see, lol. PM'd back
  21. set of ultralite gt2's in black with polished lip and tyres would put pic up but i'm crap with comp's lol link to them http://www.envyperformance.com/product/put_pics/pic.cfm?pic=4649
  22. its stock suspension, that link says it's all good so might have to proceed with getting me some nice new wheels:) just phoning around tryng to get best deal been at it all morning lol.
  23. Done a load of searching on here but just want to check to see what width tyre i could get away with, the wheels are 18" and the offset will be 35. Will i be able to put 8.5"wheels with 235/40 tyre on the front and 9.5" wheel with 265/35 tyre on the rear with out them sticking out or rubbing. Had a good look but couldn't find some thing specific. cheers guys;)
  24. Right guys and gals i have an MOT due soon and just checked my tyres and i dont think they will pass, so decided to bite the bullet and get me some new wheels with tyres. I've decided on a set of ultralite GT2's in black with polished lip, have had a look on a few sites but have loads of stuff to be sorting out at the mo. So was wondering if anyone is bored if they wouldn't mind having a look at some prices and let me know the sites. I'm after them in 18's but dont know what width so any advice on that is welcome. At the moment i probably can only afford them with some cheapy ish tyres to pass the MOT and then when i get some more funds upgrade the rubber a bit later. Any input would be greatfully appreciated i've just got so much stuff to be doing hunting for wheels comes last but still needs to be done soon. cheers
  25. i saw someone on a list of my works employee's called wayne king today no joke.
