Hi, I seem to be having lots of problems when the cars first started, if I leave the engine warming up it will start idling at 1k and then keep dropping til it nearly stalls. If you drive it, it runs a bit lumpy and when you get past 2k revs it just cuts out power, it may do this a couple times then just run fine. After driving for a while the revs seem to idle around 1100rpm. I've recently had my turbos rebuilt as we initially thought that the first turbo had stalled starving air into the engine, I've cleaned the icv, changed spark plugs and tried different coil packs and the problem keeps coming back. I'm guessing I need to buy a new idle control valve but just thought I'd check to see if anyone had any ideas. Thanks.

I was very lucky that James only lives about half a mile down the road from me. He knows everything, I've had work done at garages before and he's put it right and made the car run so much better. It's definitely a nice feeling once the engine had gone back in knowing we had done it ourselves. Yes it's definitely a lot easier to work with the engine out. Within the first month of having the car back on the road the turbos went so had to take the turbos off for a rebuild, don't think James enjoyed that too much with the engine in.

We did everything ourselves. We skimmed the head and cleaned the valves ect at James garage.

Hi, last year my engine started smoking a bit so James cbr and I thought we would do the stem seals, and one thing led to another here's a few pics of his hard work Hopefully this has come out ok as never posted like this before.

The fronts are 18 x 8.5j and the rears are 18 x 10j and the offset is 45.

Hi I have a set of do lucks which unfortunately I had an accident and one of the wheels has had the lip bent over and a dent in the back, I have looked into fixing it and a garage said they could but I luckily found another set of them which I bought so now haven't the money to fix them. Unfortunately the wheels aren't in great condition and have a few curb marks but as you know these wheels are very hard to come across and was wondering if anyone was interested in doing them up. Open to offers. Thanks. I will get some pics up as soon as I figure it out.

It has a helix uprated clutch and a fidenza lightweight flywheel. Thanks alot for your comments, I shall try changing the oil and look at the input shaft bearing and let you know if this solves the problem. Thanks again.

Hi I've got a 6 speed manual tt and never had any problems with it, I changed the clutch a few months ago and since then it has been making a rattling noise. The noise starts when the engine is warm and you can hear it all the time apart from when I push the clutch in and then it goes completely. I've since changed the clutch again and replaced the flywheel and if anything it's slightly louder. Between 2k revs and 2.5k revs on accelerating it sounds like a grinding noise and the car vibrates a bit. I thought maybe the release bearing but from research that seems to be more of a whining noise where mine makes a rattling noise. Any suggestions on what this could be would be much appreciated. I just bought a clutch today which said it was for a twin turbo and it turned up and didn't fit. It had 21 teeth and a narro w shaft where it should only have 14 teeth. It wasn't an f1 but they look very similar. Just enquire first

There red 4 pots, the discs are at the garage at the moment so don't know the exact dimensions but there pretty and need the dust guard needs removing to fit and the drilled,grooved and vented solid discs ( Not two piece)

Hi, I recently bought some brembo brakes and discs off a supra which was being scrapped. As they came straight off a supra I thought they would fit straight on mine, they don't fit and I see he must of had a bracket to make them fit but the car is gone now and I'm having trouble finding where I could buy the brackets from, can anybody help please? Thanks

when i boght the pulley i said i needed a cranck shaft pulley and thats what they sent..not my bad
