  1. Is that an old MKII MR2 turbo engine in it, yeah ?
  2. Think it would be mate just checked your garage. GF lives in Lennoxtown so i'm up that road quite often on route to hers. Nice car! Hopefully get mine back soon.
  3. Holyfield was poor but still comfortably beat Valuev IMO and the judges' scoring was a farce. If Haye sticks to his gameplan his conditioning should have him win on points.
  4. Coming past the ASDA in Bearsden around 2pm this past Saturday afternoon. Slooooow due to the roadworks putting the road down to a single lane. Was a red supe with square number plates and OEM skirts and spats. Was in the jag so wouldn't have noticed me.
  5. Won't be laughing when sometimg goes wrong and he sees the prices for getting spares !
  6. This is the scary thing though Gaz..........Graham Walker is probably the top man for road traffic law defense in Scotland. He has got people off with a whole host of things, some high profile cases, and from person experience too as i've used him in the past. The fact the guy got this sentence WITH him defending makes it seem even more unbelievable and harsh than i had initially thought when i first heard about the conviction. £600 - £900 fine, 2-3 year ban and an extended retest to regain his license is what i'd expect for that. Unreal.
  7. Got one too. Glad some of you got lucky at least !
  8. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html/ref=amb_link_82960773_1?ie=UTF8&docId=1000095443&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=special-offers-2&pf_rd_r=11W7GA8A1MJ65DJ3CQKP&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=473487433&pf_rd_i=B002NV87OU Add the Black 360 Elite and the Wireless Entertainment Pack (bottom left) which includes Lego Batman and Pure. Total RRP £263 Then just go through to checkout, you have to get to the last screen before payment and it applies a massive discount of £135, making it all-in: £127.02 I would be quick if you want one. Got a confirmation email through so fingers crossed !
  9. Parked two spaces away from me at the weekend when i was up visiting? Looked standard except for nice alloys and with OEM skirts and spats. Think it was a 1994 plate ? Nice motor
  10. FFS parts have finally arrived today!! Light at the end of the tunnel.
  11. Not every McD's are franchised. A lot of them are still owned internally with the others franchised. Easiest way to tell sometimes is the franchises often opt out of a lot of the promos that are advertised in the main stream media.......the old BOGOF offer that they used to run for a different burger each day of the week at the turn of the new year used to see a lot of franchises opt out as they took an absolute hammering with it being constantly busy.
  12. Lots of surprises last night it has to be said. I know this sounds very sceptical but the whole thing seemed very suspect to me.
  13. MVM have had that and a red manual N/A sitting for sale for at least 6 months, make of that what you will.
  14. Get about 140 miles for putting in £25 worth of fuel and driving semi-sensibly.
  15. BE* It aint cheap but i'm a believer that if you pay peanuts you more often than not get monkeys. They are £21 a month for a 24mb max connection and i've been with for over two years and think i've had downtime of around about 90 mins and that was for local exchange work at the small hours which is nothing. No limits on downloads and more importantly no capping or throttling ports for torrents or news groups. Regularly hit about 18mb/s downloading at full tilt and online gaming on the PC and Xbox Live! runs brilliantly.
  16. In the cinema in Glasgow last night to see new tarrantino film. About ten minutes from the end hear a few mumbles from a few rows behind me which progressively gets more audible. A brief murmur of "Right that's f*****g it" and then as i turn round a heavily built bloke in his 30/40's has vaulted the seats back a row and is tatooting this boy of about 16/17 with punch after punch. Had no ideal what the hell was happening but the guy got up and left in a very unhappy mood shortly followed by the lad with his pal carrying him down the stairs. Only saw at the end when the lights came up the trail of blood going down the aisle and on the way out the lad flat out in the pick 'n mix area with three or four cinema staff helping him and giving first aid to an absolute belter of a split eye lid and black eye. Total guesswork but can only guess the boy has maybe been hitting the guys seat or constantly putting his feet up......not a chav / ned though by the looks of it just a young studenty type out with his friends to see a film. Crazy stuff though !
  17. Working both weeks i'm afraid otherwise i would have - cheers.
  18. Welcome Lee. I'm another bod like yourself who's came over from the MR2OC.co.uk and ventures into Supra world.
  19. Thats pretty decent, i had a problem in my first MR2 and the geometry and allignment was about £80ish and the chap even let me watch for the whole time, went roudn everything and then explained it all with gave me a info to take away on what he'd done. Meant absolutely nothing to me mind you but was interesting none the less !
  20. One good bit of news - assuming all goes well - is i will get back to stock bumper and rid of the very iffy Blitz front wing which was on the Sup when i bought her.
  21. Thanks for the advice stevie and the others. Managed to get down for a couple of quotes before they closed for the evening. Damage didn't look horrendous myself but after the guy gave it a good checking over it's amazing just how many little things you don't notice (also a good future reference for checking a car over when buying / viewing in future). Looks like i'm needing a new front bumper and new offside head light. The lady also just phoned again to apologise and pass on confirmation of her insurance details. Agreed it was a good, honest gesture but it was a police car park so would have been ironic for a bump and run ! Fingers crossed.
  22. Was leaving work this afternoon about an hour ago to come out to my car. Noticed a small ring mark about half the size of a 5p piece as i came round the side of the car in a perfect circle. Just as i moved round the front to get in i noticed i'd been whacked and scraped all along the side of my front wing. Similar mark on the other side of the car must have been the mounting points on each side for the wing and the screw(s) pushing through on impact. Pretty shocked to be honest but the lady who did it - fuck knows how but she managed - at least sat patiently in her car for 50 minutes untill i came to leave my work and came over, apologised and passed on her details. First time anything like that has happened to me. Whats normal protocol ? Do i need to contact my insurance at all or do i get quotes myself and then pass them onto her ?
  23. ^^ Thanks mate, thats what i was trying to say. Was on stealth mode here at work trying not to get spotted.
  24. As it says on the tin. Pair of hubcentric wheel spacers, 10mm on each spacer. Bought from another member on here recently but never been used. They are correct Toyota fitment and came off a Supra however they don't quite give my particular model of alloys enough clearence on UK brakes so they haven't been used. £40 delivered to recoup what i paid for them inc. fuel costs
  25. Thanks for the advice guys. I did some more fiddling about today and it looks like it will actually work. However wasn't 100% sure so got some H+R hubcentric spacers of the correct size for peace of mind.
