Very, very surreal !! Just off a run of working nights, friends were getting back from USA so i said i'd pick them up as they got on just after i finished and i only work 5 mins from airport. They were delayed so sitting parked up in BP garage for over an hour waiting on a phonecall. Totally bleary eyed and struggling to keep awake i pulled out to get them, just as i left petrol station on the side road from car park i see another white supra appear of nowhere in my rear mirror.....thought i was hallucinating. Road opened up to 2 lanes at the next roundabout and pulled up beside me a little wave and toot of the horn! First supra (aside from the meets) i've ever seen on the road since i've owned mine. Don't know if it's anyone on here, only got a brief glance looked to have nice black offset rims and a private plate something like C8 MMY ? EDIT: Could this be the chap http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?u=16939

Saw this listed earlier this week on Ebays deal of the day. Only gave it a fleeting glance at first before i noticed the price and all the things it does. They were punting them at £21.99 with free delivery in the UK which looks a hell of a deal. Will be ideal for the the TV in the spare room to save the hassle of having to use the Xbox 360 to play anything i've got on my USB memory stick. Also bought one for the old man to use back home to save the hassle with burning discs, etc. Thought there must be a catch but 99% + feedback and they've punted in excess of 1,300 of these so it must be legit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310209505902

That was cracking today, cheers fellas. Nice cars + nice people = very enjoyable afternoon. Managed to get a monster of a chip in my windscreen from falling debris off a builders merchant flat bed on the way home though

Alright folks, ended up in work till 6.45am this morning so needed to get a few hours sleep. Still going to head up as planned so don't disappear for food too quickly. Should be up by 1.30pm at the latest.

Drivers one is the stock one i'm sure.

Ok good stuff. Also worth mentioning that Rangers are at home tomorrow so plot your way home accordingly to avoid Ibrox.

Hooah ! This is more like it. I'm working this weekend but only 10 minutes from Xscape so i will come down on my lunch time. It's mobbed at weekends at the best of times but probably even more so as it's school holidays as of this Friday. I would recommend meeting/parking towards the far left hand side of the car park to get a bit of space. Yes / no ? I can pinch my birds Sony cybershot camera, don't think it has video capability but the photos it takes are very decent. Plenty of places to eat in Xscape too, think china buffet king is only £6.99 during the day and it's massive so plenty room for groups. Will (finally) be my first meet. Please don't laugh as my car is just a baby compared to all your monsters.

Did this for mine last week, very similar anyway, and it passed no problems.

Help identifying correct name for a part on bumper
clarky666 replied to clarky666's topic in Supra Chat
Thanks guys. Are facelift and non facelift bumpers the same? I know there are differences with the indicator clusters and side repeaters but is the basic factory mould of the bumper identical on each of them ? -
Hi folks, http://d.imagehost.org/0926/FRONT_7.jpg Need help identifying correct name for this if someone could help ? I don't think it came on pre-facelifts bumpers. Just the T shaped insert for the front of the bumper that runs the width of the gap. If anyone has one or knows where to get one that would be an added bonus. Thanks.

I visited them when i was looking for car a year or so back, seemed like decent guys who knew their stuff. Had a LOT of nice jap import sports stuff back then which they hadn't put up on the website, so you might even see something else you like. Where abouts in Strathclyde are you ?

Always a worrying time of year ! Don't know why but always hope for the best but assume the worst. Passed with no advisories. Massive relief

Hi all, As you may remember the MR2 went to car heaven recently thanks to an offer that was too good to refuse from Gordon Brown (ie: scrappage scheme). I managed to claw back as much as was legally and physically possible after dropping it off and signing it over. Taken off a 1996 uk spec rev3 with everything tested and working. Wil get pics and prices up tonight. ------------------------------------- Full Rev3+ rear light setup - full cluster of lights, centre panel, bulb holders, wiring loom, bulbs and side reflectors. £150 Apexi power intake (fits Rev3 n/a models onwards) including heat shield. £45 Front headlight motors - O/S and N/S £12 each Front fog lights - O/S and N/S (top mounting bracket broken on each ) £20 each *Hold off on pics for this so i can double check damage on brackets as don't want to sell on a false description* T-bar sun shade blinds (x 2) £10 each Rev3+ N/A alternator £25 - collection only weighs a tonne T-bar storage bags (x 2) £25 for pair Ash tray £10 Cigarette lighter £5 Front UK spec number plate holder £6 ---------------------- Prices will be amended if postage is required, local pick-up would be preferable but obviously not feasble for a lot of people as i'm in Glasgow. As mentioned will take photos tonight as going to start listing them on Ebay over the weekend. Cheers, Steven.

Question regarding front lights mode of operation (Don't laugh !)

Okey dokey. Hopefully everything is still intact! If they have left the loom as it should be are there any hidden nasty surprises or should it be a straight swap out ? -
Question regarding front lights mode of operation (Don't laugh !)
clarky666 replied to clarky666's topic in mkiv Technical
Ahh ok mate. I think i see what has happened here....... Car is a face lift and had a horrid blitz front wing on it originally when i bought it. I ended up getting it back to stock following someone hitting me at work - every cloud has a silver lining and all that. Just been googling some facelifts and think i see now that they have front indicators with side lights built into them? Looks like the coach works ordered the wrong indicators and has fitted pre-facelift indicators meaning that my car has no side lights. That sound correct? This will be an MOT issue i'm guessing. Easy to pick these up ? -
Morning folks, OK this is not a windup or an early April fools or anything so i will apologise now for being thick. There is a story behind this which i will go into later but in the mean time i need a quick bit of help with this. http://i.imagehost.org/0308/ToyotaSupra.jpg Can someone tell me what each of these are going from the outside of the cluster to the inside ? I'm thinking it should be fog light, then main beam and then full beam. The orange one below being the indicator. Is this correct. The reason i am asking is i am getting nothing - aside from the dash iluminating - when i turn the indicator stalk one click forward which i am assuming should be side lights, but as i say no external bulbs lighting up? Two clicks forward on the stalk and the middle bulb lights up and then in course flicking it forward the inside bulb (full beam) comes on. Turning fog light bit on the stalk then lights up the bulbs on the outside of the cluster. I'm thinking i'm a bit dense for this time of the morning but what should be lighting up when the stalk is turned on one click for side lights?

The original double pack is no longer produced as they have another re-release in the pipeline hence why the 2nd hand prices have went through the roof. This happens all the time with Disney DVD they are sneaky b******s or very clever business acumen depending what way you want to look at it. They literally pull DVD's from production and put them in cold storage and then re-release them with a new lick of paint a couple of years later at full price to spike some sales.

Ebay advert says they are for bigger UK brake setup, is this correct?
