Alright mate! I think your on the right tracks with looking at the starter. If I was you I'd check the connections first because one might just be loose , or it might just need a clean. Sometimes a bit of dirt can get in there and jam them. Take it out, give it a good clean and put it back in and see!!!

I would have thought that the 3" would have been better for the TT (less restrictive) and the 2.5" would be better for the N/A (back pressure)

17th/18th is good for me and I finally have my brakes sorted (after the parts shop sold me the wrong type .....TWICE:rolleyes:) and I'm now double de-catted and ready to wake some sleepy little welsh villages!!:eyebrows:

Hey Vicky, Just ignore the little chav's. Anyone who shouts abuse at someone for absolutly no reason isn't worth giving a second thought. For them it was probably a highlight in their sad, pathetic, pointless little lives:rolleyes: Chin up and don't let the little pricks get to you;)

Last year my girfriend and I were going for a meal at a table that was booked when a police car pulled us over for having an aftermarket exhaust (small 2.5inch magnex back box) and after being told to follow them to the local station they tested the db level and it came to 97.2. They told me the limit was 96db, gave me a prohibition and told me I couldn't move my car from their car park. Not only did we miss our meal but we had to get a taxi home. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed.

I agree! I've used to work for a company who bought either cat-d or sometimes cat-c cars and we repaired them and sold them on. Some of the cat-d cars had only very slight cosmetic damage and with having been in the trade it has never put me off purchasing a car that was previously damaged. (Quality of work depending!!!)

After a bit of searching I believe these figures to be correct- Focus RS 0-60 = 6.5 Focus ST 0-60 = 6.4 SUPRA TT 0-60 = 4.9:p For my own knowledge, I could only find this time quoted for the N/A = 7.5:( Is this true? Surely not?

Definitely try both. Everyone has there own preferences. Personally I don't like the auto and so I went for a manual but as I said everyone is different!
