Personally I don't like the auto due to TWO of my mates having them and the auto box changing gear half way through a corner and the supra's were left looking a little worse for wear (not good)!! At the end of the day the best thing for you to do is test drive both and see what you think.

Hi and welcome! I was in the same shoes as you and started off in an MR2 Turbo which at the time i did love but I decided to go for a Sup purely because I instantly fell in love with the looks and sound of the straight 6! Personally i beleive the handling from a Supra is much more rewarding than in the understeering straight to a 360 degree spin MR2! This is obviously my own opinion but the whole front engined / rear drive is unbeatable when it comes to the perfect balance. As for not going for the n/a due to having an MR2 turbo before this is what I have done and in all honesty once you learn the Sup's characteristics i don't think you'll miss the MR2 for a second. I know I don't!!! Either way keep us informed!

I wondered how long it would take b4 the colour issue came out!!! I was going to follow that last post with something about me polishing and showing you the purple.....................?!?!? but thankfully i stopped! Well hopefully as long as the summer hasn't completely decided to pack it's bag's for the winter then it should be it's correct colour for JAE!

Just wondering, seeing as were all meeting up in Ponderossa (spelling!?!?) does anybody want to purchase a brand new 10" XL Series sub box (no sub!)? Purchased last sunday from Motormania for £40, will fit in a Sup no prob's, it's just that i've decided that no matter how tatty my old one look's the sound quality is great! So it's never been used, only 1 week old, mint condition, give me £30 and it's yours! I could take it back to Motormania but it would cost me £10 to take it there and get back so £30 for anyone who is going tomorrow! First definate YES post back get's it! Just purchased my first Supra yesterday. 3.0l N/A Manual, Cadbury's Purple, new BBS 18's, OEM sides and spats, black and grey leather re-trim with Supra stitched into the seats, high level rear spoiler, A1 cond [/GRIN].
