  1. Search for fog light conversion, I recently had the conversion done (pixelfills thread), just printed the wiring diagrams, bought the parts from maplins as listed and got an auto electrics place to do the work, no issues with it at all. Like the dash and wheels by the way. Can I offer a bit of advice, don't be tempted to fit any after market kits, keep it stock, looks great as it is, I sometimes regret having gone down the kit route. Steve
  2. Taking it very steady coming onto the Southbound M6 from the slip road at junction 10, looked very tidy and shiny.
  3. My misses bought as a surprise, Silver at Abbey so roaming Friday/Saturday, allocated Sunday. I had to get up at 4.30 last year on the Sunday as we were roaming,Ryan spent all day in a waterproof maggot at Club corner as the weather was foul. Was memorable though, better than sky plus
  4. Hi Alex, Yeah Me and Ryan camping across the road all three days. Cost me £20 last year for all weekend, I think its £10 per head per night. As its the final GP in Silverstone its got t be done. There is a rally school nxt to the camp site that offers drives during the evening. Steve
  5. NOooooooo Its the Silverstone GP weekend you plonker, already paid for my tickets, gutted. Hope you have a good day, be thinking of you and already praying for good weather
  6. Ugh nah, brain now officially on overload but interesting stuff
  7. Fed up of not understanding what the techs are on about and not knowing anything about engines/turbos etc I found a website called Howstuff works. Through the link how normal engines work and the associated links it gives a comprehensive and really clear idiots guide about understanding compression, ways to improve it, turbos/superchargers and their component parts. Its all in one place and if your a complete engine numpty like me it gives a really good understanding, especially why elements of BPU makes the difference it does. Just thought it might avoid some of the bone questions, mind you, I now have loads of other questions, where's that tool kit

I must have had my beer goggles on then.
  10. Really, really wanted to go last year, am desperate to go this year too, sounds like a real blast. It would work out pretty expensive though.
  11. Was looking around Hollngworths in Kidderminster today and saw this, absolutely stunning, got me thinking, with a similar arrangement at the rear, would a Supra work as a convertible? Also a stunning R34 for £25K http://www.midland-ferrari.co.uk/bigpic.asp?id=664&img=1
  12. I think you'll find its a MKIV Supra:)

Hooters baby! OOps may be not!
  14. The classic car show at the NEC in November (along side MPH show) had a large US muscle car contingent, some really decent cars and many for sale, some drag specific but a number of collectors clubs so they do exist. I'll see if I can find any of the info we might have picked up.
  15. Thanks to Konrad, I learn something new again, it looked a lot simpler in daylight. Thanks for all the advice.
  16. Hopefully get it looked at this morning, if it is the shield for the fuelfilter what would the cable be running through the barrel? Let you know later.
  17. Went out today for a quick blast, whilst out I noticed a scraping sound, stopped and found a small plate under drivers side, about level with the wheel had come loose. Plate is about 6" x 4" slightly curved and has a barrel with a cable running through it. With my limited knowledge I would say its around the bottom of the auto gearbox? No reason why it should have dislodged. Not able to get a picture until the morning, real concern is that there was a trace of oil on my fingers after having lodged it back into place to get home. Everything seems to be running fine.
  18. 1 Waiting for parking about 1pm with rear roof spoiler and 1 parked at about 5.30. Took me an hour to find somewhere to park, was going to pop over but was still ranting over some git having nicked my space about half an hour before, I'm over it - just.
  19. Had my MOT last week which I new would fail for lack of foglight but needed to know if anything else was wrong. No other issues so looked at all the foglight options and after new bumper fit didn't want a stick on. Printed off Pixelfill's wiring diagram and got all the parts from Maplins. Auto eletric shop in Halesowen fitted it without any issues and flew past MOT today, inspector thought the idea was ingenious, RESULT!
  20. Neither would you be mistaken for 26 either

There was a thread about this some time ago, bit of a mine field with the size of trailer and alloys getting damaged and guys stating they can do the job then turning up and finding they cant load the car on the trailer then asking for money to cover their petrol. I think it was MattH.
  22. As a lowly NA owner I too was at Llandow, funny thing was there was no NA/TT peeing contest just mutual admiration, ok Jamie's car got more admiration than most and was extremely fast. Funny thing is being overtaken on the straights didn't bother me or any of the other NAs. Two weeks later though and leaving Supra Pod I had this yearning to go Turbo. The difference? The track day was a blast and not a race, just abouting enjoying the car, the Pod was about racing and I don't like being beaten! If I had the money there is no question that I would go turbo, but I would still respect any Supra especially the first one, just enjoy it what ever it is.
