Really good day, favourite show of the year again. This show is imo far better than Japfest, its just a shame when so few club cars take part. Good showing from the MR2s on their procession. Twinle there are a few techy's in Stourbridge who could talk you through the best ways to gain performance and can advise on the best place to get work done locally. I'de just enjoy the car as it is for the moment. I still haven't changed anything performance wise and I've had the car 2 years now, still managed to spend a sh~*t load of money on it though.

Well, following four hours yesterday, I started at 10.30 this morning and finished at 9pm. She's looking pretty clean! Fuuniest thing was Ryan (my 13 year old) on his back on a skateboard cleaning the chrome box on the exhaust from undeneath the car. I'm considering taking his skateboard tomorrow and charging for his services:D

I've just invested in shares in Meguires getting ready for this, tomorrow is a right off for cleaning. Halfrauds are doing 3 for 2 by the way on Meguires and Autoglym if your tempted.

They said exactly the same last year and there were cars coming and going all day. We left about 4 and had absolutely no problems leaving. Our stand is at the back of the pit garages,(if you've been to Silverstone before, outside the main restaurant and bar) outside the wire if you like, but inside the circuit perimeter along with the other club stands.

Twinkle, few of us in Stourbridge, haven't seen your car about yet. Look at Midlands meets for local events, nice to see another supe in the area, but for the love of god no stars.

I'll definately have a go at the ice spray, what can go wrong. I couldn't believe lads in his own regiment were responsible (not the only one to have his car damaged. The badge is involved but not much hope of finding the tw&t. I do wonder about the value of keeping them on camp for four weeks after an op tour before letting them come home, they just get bored and drunk=recipe for disaster.

Set up times on Sunday are 7-9.30 am. Strictly no entry after 9.30 and no vehicle movement unless moving to and from the track. Track time briefings start at 8.30am and go through to 3.30pm. Can I suggest we plan to move off from McDs to Silverstone at 8.45am. I'll aim t get to McDs for 8.00 just in case someone needs to collect wrist bands and get to an early briefing. Any advances on 8.45? I'll be the one with suntan oil smeared all over my bonce:cool:

Tickets arrived today, just going through info to see if there is anything about arrival time.

A few weeks ago my lad got back from Iraq and bought himself a car, Mustang Cobra SVT. Okay, car not to everyones liking but he's into his American muscle. He took the car back to his base in Germany where you would have thought it would be perfectly safe, but he comes out one morning to find some Tw%t has walked all over the CF bonnet and jumped on his roof, gutted would be an understatement. Why would you do that? He's bought the car back home and we are trying to find somewhere to repair it, as he's only got 2 years NCD its not worth him claiming. I remember seeing dentbuster(?) at Japfest who seemed to be working miracles with chips and dents. All the garages around here want to fill the dents and repaint est £4-500. Anybody used these people/method before.

Not received the bulk tickets yet, hopefully tomorrow. Last year we had to be on the stand by a certain time so will check and then confirm times to meet at McD's before going to circuit.
