  1. Jamie, i wouldn't think so as they are 2 different types of readings. Usually when a gauge can display 2 types of something, they are both marked with the same type reading (ie. pressure or temp but not both). I could be wrong though of course.
  2. I asked for some pictures and confirmation its for a TT. If thats the case i'll likely snag it up. I'll post up with whatever I hear back from if Ray doesnt. Thanks mate
  3. Hello all, I'm after a few stock bits: TT upper plenum TT lower plenum I'm after a couple (one for me and my buddy). I dont need any sensors. Throttle Bodies are prefered but not required. Shipping to a UK location.
  4. I sent a PM regarding the plenum a bit ago but no response yet.
  5. Gary, dont make me PM Jamie with some pricing on parts!!
  6. Not sure about the OEM stuff but the RPS flywheel is the same part # for 5spd or 6spd. Just food for thought. That PM we exchanged earlier today was for NA stuff by the way.
  7. Its not whether it would bolt to the motor, cause it will, its the tranmsission your using. The 6spd vs the 6spd. Its a different release bearing, clutch fork..etc
  8. It could vary well be the release bearing, which is about 60GBP. I know its alot of work to pull the transmission to try it, but it sure beats spending the cash on a new/used transmission. And regardless its worth while to replace the release bearing. And if you have that apart, i'd put a new pilot bushing in the back of the crank. This is where the input shaft on the tranmission goes into the crank.
  9. how much you want for the resistor pack mate The ignitor is a little black box that sits on the fender, the UK models have it. Here it is in a picture I found:
  10. I mean i dont see the need for the filter....but it wont cause any restrictions to the DBB turbo. I would check to see if their is any temperature warnings on it. Like must not be over certain degrees? Cause the oil temp will be considerablly higher than any fuel that it was probably designed for. Other than mate, no harm in trying it ;-)
  11. Dan, pressure drop is a moot point I believe mate as you mentioned in a previous post. Its a -3AN that your going to connect to the turbo, but the turbo is DBB so their is the restrictor in that fitting so your going WAY smaller than a -3 in reality. if that makes sense... lol.. i have had a long day at the office and its still not time to go home
  12. Dan, while i agree thats VERY cheap for a new one, i'm hoping to find some used goods. Rob, i replied to your PM on the valve covers. I'm after another set still but i'll be taking yours as well.
  13. dan, its likely out of the price range i'm looking for but PM me what your asking for it.
  14. I need a bunch of random stock bits and some others. Figured i'd give this a shot here. I may update as i find more bits i need so keep checking. Parts will be shipped to a UK location. I'll need pictures of anything i purchase, but feel free to PM me and discuss parts before i ask for pictures. I need: -TT Resistor Pack -TT Ignitor -TT Cam covers (Valve Covers) -TT Crank Trigger Sensor -TT Auto Wiring Harness (complete under the hood harness to the ecu type deal....ecu is not needed) -TT Camshafts -TT Coilpack holders, not the coilpacks but the brackets that bolt to the head and hold the coilpacks in place. Also need: -Active Front Lip, everything needs to be included.
  15. Hey mate, The headgasket itself is just that, if your looking for the rocker cover gaskets and others, you may be best looking into the upper gasket rebuild kit which includes the toyota headgasket, valve steam seals, rocker covers...etc.
  16. Jamie, shoot me a PM. I can carry it and of course carry a warranty for you mate. AR options on the GT4294R can include: .98, 1.12, 1.28, 1.44...etc in a T4 divided housing.
  17. upgraded cams at the BPU level to me, are a waste of money. Thats alot of coin for minimal hp gains. Its not until your single that you truely start seeing gains of the cam upgrades and even then, its expensive for the hp gains.
  18. Paul, i honestly dont remember if i was hanging upside down or not lol! Rescue workers were their when they pulled us out of the car, so i can't recall if i was upside down when i woke up or right side up lol! But nitrous done right, can be a huge friendly helper. Just be careful and think it out. And dont use bottle after bottle in one day and you should be fine haha
  19. Thanks Jamie for the name dropping for me Let me know if i can help in any way, whether it be just advice or anything.
  20. its the same riot it would cause on the USA forums lol! I absolutely loved not needing a laptop. I built the car around the sheer fact i didn't want to have to worry about tuning (cause i know i would blow the car up lol!). Everything was going great until i hit 30psi on a cold street....upside down we went . all is well now, a good life changing event for the better.
  21. haha good point Rob, i keep meaning to hang it on the wall but i'm lazy. I'm trying to clean out the garage these last few weeks. Its amazing how much these $20-100 items add up in total. I think with enough of these AEM map sensors laying around i could buy a few turbos lol!
  22. Thanks mate, i'm all about customer service. I'm small time so every customer helps ;-). I think I still have a broken HKS cam sitting in my garage, i wonder if its worth anything lol! And yea mate, i got a silver 2 door coupe 335i, i dont think i'll ever own anything besides german engineering again. The car rides/handles like a dream. Its a blast to drive! I get like 22mpg in the city and 30 on the hwy and as you said it can hang with an M3 that cost nearly $30,000 more lol
