  1. Thanks for the comments fellas! I didn't create the photoshop. A guy took it at a car show and did the photoshoping. I thought it looked neat
  2. If we are talking AOL Instant Messenger, i personally use Trillian. Its a software that combines AOL IM, MSN IM, ICQ, and Yahoo into one Instant Messenger program. If we are talking AOL for the internet, i got no help for you. I use firefox ;-)
  3. Thanks guys! Jay, i got a package with some bling in it yesterday, maybe i'll get you some teaser pics!!
  4. Thanks guys, i got some clear Toyota blinkers just sitting around, maybe i'll take a stab at the install tonight. Kev i'll get some close up pictures here soon if i can.
  5. Jody, do you have a picture of the skirts you reference? And clarification, i had a 61mm turbo from Innovate, but with HKS manifold and Wastegate.
  6. I figured I'd give a very small update with this Alpine Silver Supra I purchased back in September. Very clean 93.5 model. Car came with an HKS turbo kit, I swapped it out in favor of some really nice parts. Here is the latest mods list. I'll try and get an engine bay picture today. 7. Holy Hell Jay!!! Bummer we rushed that .81 Housing to you just to find more problems! At least we know you were down on power more than likely hehe!!! The bling is piling up here, should be shipping next week!!
  8. Blitz 03 wheels are very lovely! What color is your supra?
  9. So am i reading this properly, the fuel pressure numbers that are listed in this thread are read with the engine not running? As Chris mentioned, it needs to be done with the motor running and the vacuum line disconnected for an accurate reading. Then with the vacuum line disconnected and the engine running, make the proper adjustments, set it, and put the vacuum line back on and go have fun
  10. It would be interesting to note the vacuum on a boost/vacuum gauge when the FP is at 35psi, 25psi, and 40psi. Like is the vacuum on the gauge the same the entire time? Is the idle RPM the same as well?
  11. Dang Jay, your supra is going to be awesome over the next 3-4 weeks it sounds like hehe!!! You better be taking loads of pictures of all this!
  12. The Supra springs/shocks aren't very aggressive that you HAVE to have a spring compressor. Its always smart but they dont have enough preload to cause any damage when removing the top bolt, we have done many sets and never had anything remotely dangerous.
  13. Yea i have never heard of a faulty Aeromotive FPR. Also how are you checking the fuel pressure, is the vacuum line connected or disconnected when you read the gauge? if its connected, you could have a vacuum leak elsewhere in the engine bay causing it to be off and thus inconsistant. It would be easy to start here but i'm also in aggreance with Paul, check the fuel filters in both the tank and the fuel line.
  14. What turbo are you running? 3" should be plenty for most turbos
  15. I have an open box item. Nothing is missing, just opened it and now i marked it down to sell it. Tial 46mm 4 bolt Wastegate .8 Bar spring silver color: £248 Delivered
  16. The GT4088R is both water and oil cooled. But yea i agree the wheel sizes vary slightly, may be just a very old non GT series turbo :/
  17. The exhaust housing can vary, for example, i can supply that GT4088R with the sizes from Garrett's site or .68, .81, .96 which is what we end up doing. Several members on here dump the exhaust housing in favor of that undivided .81 you have. Another chance for part #s, if you take the exhaust housing off the CHRA, there MAY be engraving of a part #. Same on the compressor housing. Sometimes a number is engraved right near where the bolts go. Just gotta have the turbo in hand and be able to take it apart, and it may or may not be there :/
  18. Well i honestly dont know EXACTLY which turbo it is but we can narrow it. Its NOT a PT67dbb, as Precision marks there turbos with Precision Turbo writing, this clearly shows garrett compressor housing. I believe its a GT40 series turbo, how did you measure the compressor wheel? Is it exactly those sizes or just really close? The GT4088R compressor wheel is very close to that. It also the compressor cover resembles a GT4088R on the turbobygarrett.com's website. The big bolt on the housing right near the compressor discharge is what i'm comparing. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/images/catalog/Turbochargers/gt40_pdfs/Turbo_1_1.gif
  19. What size feed line do you have? What size drain line? and i LOLed at the desert smiley thingy LOL
  20. Does it crank over but just not start? Or is it clicking when you hit the starter?
  21. What turbo do you currently have?
  22. Carrillos are the best rods hands down but they do come with a price tag. Eagles are good rods and a good bit cheaper. If you have the money, Carrillo's for sure, if your weighing the cost more so, stick with the eagles.
  23. Jay PM back to ya, should be no problems ;-). The 4088's are in stock ;-) Mike glad your happy, get some dyno charts ;-)
