  1. I got a new stock radiator cap and fitted it this morning. The car seems to be fine now :). The old cap had fallen apart. Thanks for the help and the very quick replies.
  2. Do you reckon it's best to go for a stock Toyota cap or something else?
  3. Probably as old as the TT - 12 years.
  4. MY TT had been sitting idle for over a week so I took it for a blast tonight. When I got back there were very loud bubbling/water rushing noises coming from around the radiator. The temp guage was reading OK so I re-started the engine. The 'L' shaped pipe to the top and rear of the radiator contracted in on itself so I stopped the car immediately and the pipe gradually expanded back to normal. I checked the coolant reservoir and it looks a little low ... but certainly not empty. No sign of any obvious coolant leaks. Any ideas? I'm a bit worried that something has f**ked up badly.
  5. Not guilty. It was broken when I got the car.
  6. HELLO ... someone out there must have had the same problem
  7. Price is a bit steep though ... even though it is a UK model.
  8. The trim where my seatbelt disappears into the rear panel is cracked. A couple of questions: 1./ Is this an easy part to get out and replace? 2./ Has anyone got a spare?
  9. If you're sure you don't want/need it that'd be great.

    Supra Mats

I've got "Supra" mats in my TT but one of the logo inserts is missing. Anyone got one lying around they don't need? Just the logo, not the mat (!!).
  11. I've got a 2.5TT Lexus Soarer for sale if you're interested. Immaculate condition and probably faster than a stock JSpec Supra TT.
  12. Parked in car park on seafront @ 5pm (ish).
  13. But .... original black is better.
  14. My TT has been converted to mph but the clock only goes up to 110mph. I'm pretty sure the car's been de-limited () but I have no idea how it's been chipped for the conversion. I want to get a 180mph clock but will I have to get a new chip? Any ideas? What's the best way to find out how the existing conversion has been done?
  15. I think I'm making some progress. The spoiler button light is blinking and the orange warning light is still illuminated but I've managed to get the motor moving when I push either the auto and/or manual spoiler button. I pulled the EF1(?) fuse to try to reset the dash light but no luck. So far I've only hooked up the motor to the plug behind the front bumper but I haven't attached the spoiler. On the plus side ........ I got the electric aerial connected to the head unit, and working, while the dash was out.
  16. I've taken the dash out and the ECU is still there & connected. The spoiler switch is still connected as well. Stumped.
  17. My '95 JSpec TT came with a detached active spoiler but no spoiler motor. I've just bought a second hand motor (which I've been assured works!) and plugged it into the socket behind the bumper. I had assumed this would make the big orange warning light disappear from the dash and I'd also thought the motor would make some sort of movement when I pushed the manual spoiler button ..... but .... The warning light is still there and nothing seems to be happening with the motor when I push the button (difficult to see with just one person!). Any ideas or help greatly appreciated.
  18. Nice and green but it takes a long time to cut it:( I'm thinking about BPUing the lawnmower:)
  19. Jeezzzzzzz ...... that was quick. Yeah, that was me on my way to Dundrum round the coast. Where are you from?
  20. Spec is as follows: 51,000 miles 18" Konig wheels Bilstein shocks all round Veilside side skirts & rear spats Rear spoiler Fogs wired into rear clusters UK spec brakes front and back SARD boost gauge HKS dump valve HKS panel filter Full stainless 5Zigen exhaust Clifford G5 alarm with proximity sensors, etc NGK racing plugs Sony flip head unit with remote control Greddy boost contoller Greddy turbo timer (enroute from the US of A) Engine cleaned and then sealed with silicone spray and .... I'm just about to order a remote start for the Clifford G5 and a front strut brace. Picking up a motor for the active spolier tomorrow to get the spoiler back onto the car.
  21. It's a guinea fowl masquerading as a football.
  22. Some pics of the Supra TT beside my Soarer TT. As you can see .... I like black.
  23. Thought I'd post a message to say 'hello.' I've just bought a '95 black JSpec TT ..... mint condition and low mileage. There are a couple of bits missing off the front which, apparently, went walkabout between here and Japan. The active spoiler motor and the splash guard on the front driver's side have disappeared. Hoping to get replacements soon. Great site. Keep up the good work!!
