  1. There is only one bulb. I had a spare blue multi-LED bulb left over from my blue dash conversion which fitted perfectly. I'm not sure about the bulb type but it's one of the large bulbs used to illuminate the dash clocks.
  2. And a pic of the front. Mesh just about visible.
  3. Thanks for the help. I replaced the original blown bulb with a blue LED so it now matches my blue dash conversion :) A bit of advice. I used a small spanner (8mm?) to remove & re-mount the bulb holder ... makes it a bit easier.
  4. Label remover from CPC. Excellent stuff.
  5. Your events catchment area is listed as Northern Ireland so I assumed you were north of the border. I'm close to Newry so you're only an hour or so away. Nice car. It looks very like mine. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=147137
  6. Clodola - where are you in NI?
  7. The dog on the Web site picture is brute ugly. Whatever turns you on I suppose :) I know I wouldn't fancy getting into a small plane with anything bigger than a chihuahua. Out of interest ... can you just turn up, buy a dog, stick it into a plane and fly it back to England?
  8. It must be one hell of a mutt to justify a private charter Which part of Northern Ireland do you plan to visit?
  9. Duhhhhhh - subject should have read "Auto Gear Lever Lights" The lights beside/below my gear lever (the gear selector indicator lights - R, D, etc.) seem to have gone out. Everything else appears to be OK so I assume it's not a blown fuse. I removed the plastic gear lever surround but couldn't see any obvious bulbs to replace and I didn't want to start taking anything else out. Any ideas???????????
  10. The car will be back on the road next Tuesday While it was tucked up for the winter I did the blue dash conversion & added a blue LED footwell light, got the seats recovered in leather, installed a double DIN DVD head unit, got some mesh put on the front bumper, had the auto spoiler re-installed, added HIDs, put the original Jap sized plates on and gave it a clean and polish today. Results below. I don't want to get it dirty now!!
  11. Shadow Beast - looks like you've got a world first. A roof mounted, wind turbine powered supra. Very eco friendly. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=73571&d=1207507178
  12. The leather cost roughly £200 with a further £250 for the re-trim. Foam liner was used below the leather and 'poofed (?????????) out' where needed.
  13. While removing the seats to take them for re-trimming I was wondering why I was spending so much money when the cloth looked fine. But the end result was worth it. The re-trim bloke used the original vinyl backs and did a fantastic job.
  14. I've just bought these for a pre-facelift TT but haven't fitted them yet. They look fine. If that helps
  15. My TT currently has an HKS panel filter in the original airbox. I want to revert back to a standard filter. Is it a straight swop?
  16. Complain to the Law Society about a solicitor???? Best of luck. I was overcharged by one of the crooked, parasitic pieces of s**t a few years ago. I eventually got the bills reduced by 50% by complaining to the Law Society but it was a long, hard slog .... and, no, I don't like the legal profession.
  17. Bump ... again. Open to offers.
  18. The iridiums are supposed to last quite a bit longer than the copper plugs. I pay someone to change the plugs so I reckoned that even though the iridiums are more expensive it would be cheaper in the longer term as I won't have to pay to have them changed as often as copper plugs.
  19. I'm just about to have my TT serviced for the first time (since I bought it). Max boost is set to 1.2 (ish) and de-catted. I've ordered some NGK BKR7EIX iridium plugs as recommended in the FAQ. Does this sound OK?
  20. I need plugs, a fuel filter and an oil filter. Any recommendations? Where is the best place to buy? Mr T?
  21. I have a Profec B on my TT and in colder weather it will overboost (the Profec's display flashes red and it beeps). The high/low settings are easily changed. PM me with your mail address and I'll send you the manual as a PDF.
  22. captainchaos .. your Web site doesn't work. Missing pictures. http://www.wdclose.co.uk
  23. Bump. Go on, make me an offer.
  24. My son's dog has an underactive thyroid gland and is on lifetime medication. To add to his bad luck he was attacked by THREE pit bull type dogs today and I had to take him to the vet. No lasting damage luckily enough. Dontcha think he looks like Gerry Adams. Scooby the dog, not my son!!
  25. I bought a set of HIDs a few weeks ago and I've finally got round to thinking about fitting them .... but I can't see anywhere obvious to mount the ballasts. Any suggestions?
